Axo is light years ahead of me on this stuff, I'm playing catch-up for sure, but here are my 2 cents: Breakaway Civilization with advanced tech seems to be the case, and the more people who are aware of it and looking into it the better. It's important to preserve and pass on what has already been discovered, so no one is starting from scratch because they are decades ahead of us. I've been focused on collecting and downloading masses of stuff related to all this for the past yearish and I am currently in the process of organizing it into a proper digital library for ease of reference and propagation. (I have a feeling such infos are going to become more difficult to find and share in the near future)
Mind control: I don't believe they have any more practical, direct forms of mass mind control than controlling the MSM, school/college education and the world of scientific research. I might be wrong though. The "indirect" approach is constantly developing, being worked on to make it more comprehensive. Restricting freedom of expression on the internet is clearly an important project at the moment.
I don't know what else to say, really. It's a black pill for sure.
How do we defend against DEW
I don't know, but I don't think they are straightforward or easy to use. Running away is probably going to be the best option for most. That's why knowing about them is the most essential thing. They're not like guns or bombs, they seem to take time to work. I believe they could have been working on the buildings even before the "plane" explosions. I think Wood alludes to that in her book somewhere. Then there are the telltale signs she points out that they were working on the buildings, that of course no one knew to look for before, but now could be things people can remember to look out for. in the case of the Cali fires the fact that only some materials were effected and not others. Things don't seem burn the same as normal with DEWs.
By the way the version of Judy wood's book in the wiki is black and white, I just checked. The colour version is better because of the amount of reference images; I have it, but my internet is incredibly slow for uploading at the moment. I'll stick it in a reply here when it's ready.

Line of sight is required. Put earth between the weapon and you.
