So... How did they know to test him for that?
they don't test for a specific virus, they analyze his tissue and look at the DNA or RNA or whatever from the virus, and voilà you got yourself a new virus
If they vaccinated him for an earlier version, it's probably just viral shedding.
Now they can prep a new vaccine, and create the next wave.
Starting to think Vaulttec from the Fallout series, is more realistic in their evil testing methodology than we may realize.
I doubt they even "really" tested for anything. They have had that headline and agenda scheduled to go with it and then they released a press release.
No need for any real behind the scenes work, it would be just a waste of time.
