The Paris climate accord would have let china and India to carry on polluting for the next 20+ years. Meanwhile developed countries would have had to cut their emissions by 25% or more, and also have had to pay taxes to China and India to pay for their green technology ..
I hope you're not absolving the actual manufacturers from responsibility by using association to nebulously shift blame toward general population segments. Outside of incentivizing its existence, I have no say in the manufacturing process at all.
