I read they suspended influenza statistics because of the coronavirus pandemic.

This is the graph that shows that in action.

Exactly. Somehow supposedly ALL of the strains of influenza have been totally stopped at once by making people stand further apart and wear cloth on their faces. Anybody who believes that these measures have destroyed the flu has no idea what they are talking about.

I've been talking about it since October. Same thing in Canada.

Covid's real, but I don't see any way they're not lumping the flu into this alongside it. Statistically it doesn't make sense otherwise. The alternative is that they made up all the flu numbers for years, which they somewhat admitted to last year, which isn't any more comforting if they're the same people counting Covid numbers.

What does that actually mean in context though?

Can you elaborate more on why that link isn't accurate? My friend is a doctor so the Church of Science is hard to penetrate.

Thanks. I'm all for what you're saying but i have a friend who showed me that, wanted a proper response.

The author asserts that it is a moderate-severe version of the flu, rebranded as "COVID-19".

I'm sure there's some new variant of things that is Covid since many of the symptoms and treatment are distinct from the normal flu, like loss of smell and taste and things like that. There's no way it's just a rebranded flu. That said, it's probably not very common, and the flu is thrown in alongside that to make it seem more common than it is.

Considering the flu kills children and Covid targets people already dying in most cases, I'm still more worried about the flu.

In March I had strep. Like, you could SEE the big white stripes and pustules on my throat and tonsils- the latter of which were so swollen I could barely breath through my mouth.

I did a telehealth session thinking it was a slam dunk for antibiotics and then I wouldn't have to go in.

Fucker made me go get tested for covid anyway. Fortunately they didn't false poz me.

Prove what? I know normal and rational people that got Covid, verified by tests, and lost their sense of taste and smell for months. They’re the kind of people that’d probably be on this site. Wasn’t all that bad for them but it was indeed not like the flus they’ve ever had in many regards.

I also know one lady that claims to have gotten Covid and lost most of her sight and ability to walk and has been half bed ridden for a year that I’m 99% certain is just crazy or making a disability play.

I don’t disagree that many of the deaths, maybe even most, were probably not from Covid.

It’s a big stretch to say Covid-19 isn’t real. Lockdowns were retarded, measures are all overblown, it’s not very deadly for 99.99% of people or more, and it’s been massively over attributed and exploited, but to think that there isn’t a new viral variant out there when people that get it are experiencing unique symptoms to it en mass, and seeing it target skewed demographics from normal flus, is an insurmountable hill to overcome. The answer to the Covid bullshit isn’t to claim Covid isn’t real. There’s too much evidence of it being real. Better to argue that it’s not a big deal, because for most people it is not, verified across the board.

like loss of smell and taste and things like that.

I’ve gotten the flu, and have lost my smell and taste. The coronavirus is the flu.

I’ve known some people that got it and it was unlike any flu they’ve had in some ways. It wasn’t at all bad for them, but there were distinct symptoms they’ve never had when sick before that lingered on at times after, such as the smell and taste thing.

I do think plenty of cases are just the flu though. We could probably cut the number of cases in half and just call it the flu and that’s being generous.

lingered on at times after, such as the smell and taste thing.

People who get the flu and the cold, can also have symptoms of losing there smell and taste. that lingers on for some time. Heck, even seasonal allergies can make people have these symptoms.

Covid isn’t real, and is a combination of many diseases.

I’ve never known people en mass to have that happen to them while getting a positive Covid test before all this. Everyone I’ve known that got Covid had the same kind of story, distinct from the flu.
