Our immigration system’s akin to the DMV, but it’s a better alternative to letting random people in whose defining criteria is that they chose to circumvent the law. At best you might get some well meaning folks that are paid slave labor wages under the table. Mexico and other countries are all kinds of fucked up. I’d rather we addressed that then exclusively let in people uninterested, or unable, to pass background checks and go through the proper channels.
Enemy combatants that should be stopped by the military at the border. We need millions upon millions of landmines on the border as well. I’d like to see the southern border out the North/South Korea DMZ to shame.
Take note, any so called republican candidate that won't mention stopping this is just delaying the inevitable and may as well be a democrat. In March alone over 175 of my home towns came across the fucking border. That is insane.
