It's definitely not over in Austin. Between this year and last, Travis county has lost, at most, less than a fraction of a percent of its population to "Covid deaths." Yet everyone in Austin, except in some parks and based neighborhoods, is wearing a mask even if they're out for a walk alone.
If you ask someone here why the death count is so low, they'll tell you it's because of masks social distancing...yet in the same breath they'll say the mandates are only still in place because of too many people not doing either.
And since it's not fashionable to track deaths under the Biden administration, the local news has come up with other material. Today's headline for example: More Texans would vote for a Hollywood actor than Abbott for governor.
Most importantly: Are the masks and social distancing mandated by law in Austin?
I'm sure that the US of A is very divisive on this because some states you do not see masked people and others do even if not mandated by law.
(For reference, in Hong Kong, the masks are actually mandated by law but all you have to do is to pull the mask down (although it still hurts having that thing around your chin) and so far I had entered trains like that without a fine. Train/mall staff will still scold me but they haven't asked me for fines, and I think they won't even bother if there are no jurisdictional consequences for the unmasked.)
Excellent job listing the leftist shitholes here in Texas.
They, along with Austin, persist in "the lie" of "masks work", all while actively ignoring the rest of the state that was going maskless pretty much the entire lockdown.

They are; and a judge ruled the mandate legal.
How about the rest of Texas? Like Houston, Dallas, SA etc.
