I think there is definitive overlap between “yin chi / yang chi” and “magnetic energy / electric energy”.
If you check the documentary I linked above, a master practitioner is able to produce an electric current of some kind (measured on an ammeter, and a lightbulb, and physically felt by other people as “shocks”). Additionally there is clear evidence of magnetism or an analog of magnetism for chi. This is harder to explain, but the book I linked above does attempt to understand this interplay.
I recommend you check out both. And I agree on Tesla, and I think the Great Pyramid was constructed to aid in harnessing this energy. Recent research shows it literally accumulates electrons through its shape:
