Why are they leaving? I guess they didn't do much except provoke a hostile population. Won't the UN be called to that job if it does back into lawlessness.
I am also guessing private contractors, mercs, and drone strikes will continue, contracted by any mining corps making side deals with whatever government.

There are heaps operating including opposing contractors. That won't change.
Aside drones will continue.
Africa and the Mid East have a demand as well as other hotspots with resources and infrastructure.
The question is who fills the void. The UN or an Allie because 10 minutes later what actually happens. The Afghan forces aren't equipped at all.
