Have you seen the costs of building material?

Flipping crazy!

38.00 for a sheet of half inch oriented strand board, (OSB)!

Over 6.00 for a #2 2x4x8!

This inflation is causing home prices to artificially rise.

I do know the government set mortgage holders up to fall, getting involved as a third party in a two party contract. Had zero business getting involved.

Same holds true for renters.

We are most fortunate. Paying only property taxes for the past 11 years now.

I see homeless people!

They will keep the bubble going with printing, eventually pricing plebes out of homes. Taxpayers will be responsible and hyper inflation will occur. Coupled with artificial building materials cost, the average person will only be able to afford a tiny home. Only corporations will be able to afford to build. A 2x4 in canada was 2.29 in 2019. Its 10.49 now.

I can't attest to what he is specifically talking about but my quiet rural area had a glut if homes not selling that have all become rentals. A lot of them owned by older individuals looking to make some extra cash. The law changes for covid and tenants not paying have created a very bad situation for these people and I expect the housing market will blow up with people trying to get there money back as homes lose value.

If there's a larger bubble happening them it will only screw everyone over faster than what I'm already paying attention to.
