War is a tool. War brings about sudden change. War innovates. War rapidly advances civilization. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you win or lose at war providing you profit off of any sides fighting. Sometimes an immediate loss at war is a later gain if you have isolated your opponent into a false victory. They repelled an invader briefly only to be completely cut off. They grabbed a victory only to be bogged down and stretched into greater losses. Sometimes a loss can mean victory if your opponent brokers a desired treaty from it.
Today war has a much greater impact then its traditional use when it is not fought conventionally using weapons of greater consequences, existentially threatening our existence instead of simply gaining from it. But war remains the historic equation to our differences and a gaining population spiralling out of control. Far easier to control opposition by conflict. However today they would rather make us sick with apathy rather than let us settle our differences with duty and honour. And still our differences remain and we edge towards our conflicted nature. Regardless of whether it is wanted, it simply becomes necessary.
War causes advancement. The greatest advancement in our history are from war. Never peace. War causes change. Peace causes war, but war causes peace. War rewrites the script.
We will always have banks and the blowhard media because the people who had revolutions and independence, sold their souls to the highest brokers, collecting their dues. Until any freedom was short lived, and faster taxed. No sooner were they back in the thick of it. Such is the ties that bind. Your aid and its presumed separation are sunk in credit and debt, forever forcing your subjugation. You won't be free of death and taxes, and another person's rules drafting you into their service.
