Don’t, it’s not worth it.
NASA constantly deceiving != the earth being flat
Flat Earth, in my estimation, is basically a “political wedge issue” of the conspiracy community. It has no real bearing on the lives of 99% of people, but so many just have to pick a side and fight over it.
Seriously. Nothing about your day to day life changes one way or the other, there’s no need to froth at the mouth over the topic, flattard or nasahole alike. Who cares?
Now that’s not to say, don’t spread facts and logical arguments about specific things, like the Van Allen radiation belts, or the {fake} moon landings, or whatever. But just dont tie your identity to the false totem of either “Flat Earth” or “Globe Earth”, it really has almost no bearing on your life, other than that which you give it, like any totem.
Life isn’t binary.
Leaving room for your own error is a difficult but worthwhile lesson to learn.
I’ve never had a reason to doubt the shape of the earth, but I admit that I don’t know with 100% certainty that it is a spheroid.
In much the same way that someone who believes they know a different, less accepted shape of the earth can’t know for certain either.
The caveat being someone who has physically been to space, and I’m not sure I’ll ever meet one of those people, let alone experience it for myself. Despite the “ambitions” of the likes of Musk, Bezos, Branson, etc.
Certainty will be challenged and met with resistance. This community should represent skepticism for all narratives, including mainstream and independent.
Research should consist of more than taking somebody else’s word for it on YouTube, infowars or the chans, just because they said they’ve already done the work for you.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
If you’re asking someone to take a leap of faith and forget what they’ve known their whole life, and you aren’t providing them with the building blocks to see things from your perspective, expect to be met with resistance.
It really is. I think a big part of enlightenment is "hedging your bets" against what you believe to be your world-view.
Consider this...does any other life form need to "believe" anything to function within reality? If yes; have you ever perceived them reasoning (truth vs false) about what they believe/not-believe?
