What makes it more astonishing is that the same people acting like corona karens towards other people are the same people who would go up to your face, risk exposure, to just harass and perhaps even assault you for not wearing a mask. There is no logic with them. I mean it would make more sense to further keep your distance than close it if you saw someone without a mask and you're that uptight about it.
Don't worry though cause I'm sure even if it was a different disease, I'm sure the virus will be the most politically conscious virus there is. It'll let you attend BLM rallies and celebrate a Democrats win, but god forbid you attend a go to a BBQ with more than 10 people....

If there's one thing this lame ass pandemic has proven, is that if there is a super deadly one that comes we are fucked because there will be tons of people ignoring all precautions and recommendations who will kill us all.
If it were one of those, we wouldn't have all these threads about how it isn't. Most of us would know at least someone who died of it personally. We'd have seen death counts in the millions months ago (remember there are over 7,000,000,000 people in the world and 330,000,000 of them in the US). "It felt like a cold but I was over it in a few days" would be a rare thing to hear.
And we wouldn't need mandates and fingerwagging in our faces to tell us we should isolate ourselves because we'd be doing it; and we'd probably be physically fighting to move up the line for a vaccine.

The article is a bit too optimistic. The 1980 Communist Debacles won't even be the future.
It will be like pre-WWI or even pre-WWII. Expect more deaths, more control, and controlled anarchism on the rise.
