When I was a kid I took a tour of the local water plant. Every thing was kept spotless except the part where they put in the flouride. Those pipes were completely corroded. This really stood out to me and was years before I ever heard anything negative about it. It left a big impression on me.
Yeah fluoride is completely unnecessary. A multivitamin supplement will have a higher chance of being absorbed if taken with a meal. However, many based doctors will tell you that it’s always better to get your vitamins from food. Eat a healthy balanced diet and you won’t need a multivitamin supplement.
It's not just those two, there are another five vitamins and minerals the standard American can add in their deficiancy. It's not entirely the potatoes either, though bad soil with poor nutrients will carry over, but rather the ratios of types of food eaten. In the past the diet for a standard American was whole plant food with a little meat, sugar, and oil. Now the diet is mostly meat, sugar and oil with a little whole plant food. Now only about 12% of the deit is comprised of vegetables, fruits, fugus, nuts, and seeds. Where 88% is meat, oil, dairy, and refined sugar and flour. This inversion is why people are sick, reverse it and have a bounty of health and healing. I also encourage growing a garden as the variety of edible plants greatly out numbers the plants that do well for mass production (hundreds of tomato varieties for example) and you are right there is something to food that is grown in your own healthy rich soil. I've never enjoyed vegetables more than the ones I grow.
My parents fed me the fuck outta those flouride vitamins when i was a kid along with sweet flouride mouthwash that i probably drank a bunch of. When my adult teeth came in they were blotchy as fuck from hyperfluoridosis. I can only imagine how much damage it did to my brain. but hey, never had a cavity:/

That ingredient list is death in a bottle.
I doubt I would merely get a migraine, I'd probably suffer a brain aneurism if I took one of those.
