Here’s my take on the gnostic beliefs of the elite:
Let’s assume that their contention about local and global creation is true. Our “sphere” was the result of a local creator, call it yahweh, yaldobaoth, the demiurge (half worker), whatever. Thus the sphere of spheres was created by God, the ALL, the Pleuroma, whatever. This is the global creat(or/ion) where ours is the local.
Now, does this necessarily imply a set of )))good((( beliefs or (((bad))) beliefs? I think it comes down to your understanding.
Some (the masons, the vatican, the synogogue of satan, the “illuminated ones”, whatever) take this understanding and worship the one who provided us with the temptation of knowledge, the temptation of “here is a Truth undeniable, and here, take these other commandments and never question beyond our answers”. You might call this figure the Serpent, Satan, Samael, samyaza, Prometheus, and saturn among other names. They hide this worship under the name “God” so as to confuse humanity to their true nature.
Others, who were almost entirely wiped out by these “illuminated ones”, saw the creation of a half worker, and turned to the half workers mother to understand the whole. Not the demiurge’s ungraced stillbirth (unfertalized egg), but the union of the male, yang, physical and the female, yin, immaterial produces the truly divine consciousness.
Hypostasis of the Archons?
I would say the elites are, if we are saying they are heretical, practicing Arianism, not Gnosticism.
