Yes, but it kills very few.
The virus has never been isolated though, so there really is no conclusive proof that it exists.
I believe this is true.
I heard that it devolved into the common cold as it jumped from one person to the next. Perhaps this is true.
Right now, I have not seen any proof it is real because it has not been isolated.
That's how viruses work.
Viruses will die off of they're killing people. The more deadly they are, the less they can spread because it kills the host too quick. This is why Ebola is nastu but never gets more than a handful of people.
When a virus is less deadly, people are less likely to change their routine, stay home sick, or know they even have the virus. This let's the virus spread further, which ends up giving everyone partial immunity... leading to our seasonal viruses.
Remember, the flu actually kills young people. Influenza has evolved enough to keep alive which means it can't be too deadly.
If this virus isn't killing the young, and it's as deadly as their inflated numbers say, the virus is just a bad cold (coronaviruses are a large portion of viruses that cause the common cold)
It doesnt explain how they isolated the virus it just says that they did. While I can say I am a virologist and have only isolated the virus from millions of nasal samples that i put under a microscope and said hey that big one looks right for the virus, you cant verify any of that without the proof of my studies and techniques I used. Tldr: fuck what anyone says about anything, show your work or the answer doesnt count.
They made a virus close to it that died off the same. Still without isolating the virus. They never isolated COVID.
This, from what I understand, its possible that no one in history has ever isolated a virus completely...
