So folks are asking why the volume of content here is fairly low...but honestly has anyone been comparing our volume to other places like /r/conspiracy and 4chan?
Every "controversial" forum is seeing a marked decrease in content, and at record levels.
For example, I just checked out /r/conspiracy/new, and on the first page (25 links) it goes back 3 hours. I don't think I've ever seen that. IOW, in the last 3 hours, there have only been 25 posts on /r/conspiracy. Sure it's Sunday morning, but lately I frequently see the front page of /new go back 2 hours even during peak time.
In addition, /pol had a thread the other day saying the volume of posts there is at a record low in the last several years.
I personally think 60-90% of the fevered activity leading up to the election (and in the aftermath) was bot activity, and they were just shut off.
But something else is happening.../r/conspiracy is eerily quieter than it's been in half a decade.
Is something coming, or did something already come?
I've noticed the huge drop in posts, comments, votes, and general activity as well. I'm pretty sure it's from multiple reasons, one of which is a drop in bot and shill activity from the election cycle.
The other reason I believe is that most people on the right have withdrawn, for how long I don't know. Most people in the know on the political right know they got screwed over by the Democrats in the election, and then screwed over by most of the Republicans for going along with the steal, not contesting it, in some cases helping to cover it up, and certifying the election, and then got screwed over by Trump, the one guy it seemed wasn't in on the uniparty bullshit, and even he threw his supporters under the bus on January 6th.
Most of the people I've talked to are really pissed, disenfranchised, preparing, and waiting to see what happens. I've noticed myself a complete disinterest in reading political news since 01/06, for reference, I've read the news for a few hours every day since 2007, and now almost nothing.
For those paying attention, especially with what started to happen during the 2016 primary, Trump wasn't the right's last chance, it was the country's. The right, and the left, have been screwed over by the unipart for decades, playing both sides against each other while they push their multiple agendas, that all screw us over. The only difference is that the right has largely realized the charade, which is why they put in Trump(a non politician), and that since the election and 01/06, the game is over. The left still thinks the game is on, because their core philosophies make them easy to manipulate.
The U.S. as a country is over. There are 3 ways to solve conflict, and we're not using the best 2, leaving the last option: violence. It's inevitable at this point, the only question is when it starts and how it plays out. Good debate isn't happening, and the right can't vote with their feet any more in the U.S. to avoid the insanity of the false left, everything is being moved to the federal level, which is counter to the logic of the inverse square law, voting ratios, and freedom of choice and merit. Every institution has been corrupted, every foundational philosophy disregarded and upended. You couldn't design a more complete and sure destruction of society than what we're doing.
I believe most on the right realize this, which explains a lot why they've withdrawn for the time being. The dream has been shattered, the future holds pain. Why invest in politics in a rigged game and for a country that's doomed?
There's a mix of people on the right currently. There are those who think they can still vote themselves out of this (not a majority I believe), those still shocked at the realization of what happened, those trying to stick their head in the sand and endure, those who gave up and are laughing at the insanity of the modern world, those who are preparing for the violence and fall of society, and those ready to fight (but don't yet act because there is no clear leader or direction and don't want to act alone).
Bad times ahead. I believe when certain oversteps are made, social activity will return a lot, but it will be made by those who are disenfranchised, cheated, somber, angry, and ready for a fight. In the lulls between the missteps you'll mostly hear the voices of those uninformed or trying to stick their head in the sand, if we're afforded any breaks at all.
I agree with everything you said in you comment. However, I am not sure that the left will make the big overstep that will trigger violence, which would be coming for our guns or putting people on gulags. They will continue to boil the frog, as it were.
What will trigger violence (always does), is if someone on the right uses political power the way the left does, to crush their enemies.
(edit: caveat - economic collapse due to inflation or something similar will also trigger violence, and then shit will get real interesting)
So as someone preparing for the fall I take great interest in this matter, I too think it will be a slow boil. I think they will add a measure of tyranny never before seen however. 2020 won't have shit on the future. Famine and disease will be the excuse to reinstate lockdowns and further consumer controls. The economy is fucked and politicians are reactionary on top of being agents for communism. So prepare for communist problem, reaction, solution games related to food, housing, immigration, guns, medicine, travel, ext.
As far as violence goes not until there is a permanent electric grid failure will we see the kind of societal violence people fantasize about. In the mean time the isolated events will increase for sure. Probably a lot more murder suicides like the snow shovels fight in PA. A lot more Antifa riots, more discrimination towards anti maskers and anti vaxers. More road rage incidents, we could even see an increase in traffic mortality despite less traffic on the roads. A lot more drug and alcohol related deaths. Suicides in general of course. For every one percent increase in unemployment 40k people die. This is your violence and genicide. It is happening now and I believe it is why we have become quiter.
I agree. The slide will be slow, increasingly violent, and society will degrade further until on day, we look around and say "how the fuck did we end up like Robocop's Detroit in real life"? Amusingly, there will still be plenty of people who will be just fine, as they are sitting inside the palisade. Life will become very cheap. The upside? People won't give a shit about tranny rights or SJW pabulum when they are having trouble getting enough to eat.
Now, there's no barbarians at Rome's gates who will impose a different order. That's why, at least to me, it's a bit unprecedented.
If none of that happens the revenge killings from the sterility may start it.
TLDR: Bots gone because users are.
Users gone off conspiracies.win and r/conspiracy because DOOM or left for greatawakening.win (me for instance).
Wow. Great analysis!
