So this seems like a subject that many of us come to acknowledge as true, in some sense, which does vary across truth seekers in many ways. I’d like to start a discussion and hear everyone’s thoughts.
Some see a more occult/symbolic magic/magick interpretation where by {they} create a ritual that affects as many people as possible and effects as much of their twisted desires into reality based on how much “loosh/psychic energy/whatever they’ve been able to “harvest” through their ritual (think 9/11)
Others approach things with a more “zoomed out” stance, whereby all of these things are brought about by {them} / the masons / satan / the demiurge / whatever and we, as divine (in some sense) beings must co-consent to the creation of these atrocities. This view is harder to describe but it’s where I lean on the matter.
Lastly there is the simpler explanation more along the lines of MK ULTRA / brainwashing / psychologically priming the herd/sleeping masses. This I think is true but is also only the surface layer of THE truth.

You used your free will to consent to an offer by another that assumed it to be true, and are now acting upon your beliefs, while proclaiming that truth in the name of others, while making an offer of truth or false to all others.
Law of Consent
What is needed for consent? An offer of information. How can information reach consent? Motion using consequences of actions to inspire senses to perceive information, after which ONE has the choice to adhere or ignore it, which then defines ONEs comprehension of what ALL perceived means.
Consent is not a law; it's a consequence of motion, and the rules that define how motion operates are the fundamental laws of nature for all the ONEs within motion.

To ignore self represents to ignore adherence to need in favor of want aka temptations luring towards death aka desires. A want set into motion makes you want more as the consequence.

being within motion means being energy. Ignoring self within energy represents ignoring the power ONE (potential) represents within ALL (potentiality). the few harvest the ignored power of the many who choose to kill themselves through temptations.

To "zoom out" (comprehend) ONE first requires self discernment within ALL, which ONE gains by not ignoring adherence to self sustenance within ALL.

ALL represents predefined information, which the many ignore as the source in favor of a fictitious source offered to them by the (((few))). It is the ignorance of the many that created and inspires the few to exploit them and to justify it by the utter ignorance of the many.
The few offer it as a suggestion; the many consent and act upon it based on wants; while ignoring needs. Killing the few will not prevent the many from killing themselves. Selfishness needs to be tackled.

Boogeyman allegory for the selfish to justify shirking responsibility over self onto. Endless brands; same cause.

Use your consciousness and try to create a new thought without inspiration from ALL that already exists. You can't, because ALL information is predefined, you can "only" create out of (transmutation). We are the ones creating "atrocities" by ignoring that all information inspires towards adherence to self sustenance, while the motion itself lures with temptation by pulling us towards death.
This view is harder to describe but it’s where I lean on the matter.
Offer demands consent, because balance within motion demands adaptation. ONE needs to make choices to stay within motion or motion flushes ONE down the drain.
THE truth.
No such state within motion; only constant change. Seeking (want) the truth puts one against the lie. There's no conflict within motion, which is why the parasite suggest to the ignorant of motion that there is.

Regarding your first point, I originally had the idea of making this post about “where did you first get this idea”, because I’ve not really seen it distilled into a documentary or book or anything, it’s basically the piecing together of 1000 different “look at this example of predictive programming” threads and the accompanying comments.

That represents you wanting ALL that is offered to you by reality; instead offered to you by another ONE, who made assumptions about what ALL means. You want to believe, which is what the other (((ones))) need to gain control over you.

Within motion ONE can only make assumptions, because ALL is constantly changing. Our ignorance towards motion allows them keep us reasoning about thousands of assumptions we believe to be true or false.
There is no true or false state within energy...it's "just" the source of ALL information...it is you; the ONE lacking comprehension of what it means, but that does not give you the right to proclaim it to be right or wrong.
ALL is predefined; ONE has the choice to create out of it, while the consequences thereof are on all the ONEs.

Energy is the source of ALL information; I'm ONE potential within that lacked self discernment as being ONE within ALL, based on restricting my comprehension through beliefs aka my own choice of ignorance to adhere to reality.

That only works for fiction, based on consent to it by believing the offered information. Once ONE comprehends reality; ALL becomes ONES choice of inspiration.
I could spend my entire life gaining comprehension by extracting inspiration from the question "what could I do with a stone?" The information of ALL already is within each ONE; he just lacks comprehension of it, which is why ALL sues motion to communicate information as inspiration to get ONE to adhere to self sustenance so that he gains comprehension.
it is brainwashing and it works by creating a split in the psyche. the split happens when through perceived peer pressure, an individual accepts "facts" about reality different than observed. the mechanics are different on populations than individuals. hence the weird group rituals.
the esoteric element is an elaborate cover. is largely true in principle but missing in key detail, a lie by omission.
As of late I have started to wonder about predictive programing perhaps being an asset of forearming and preparing our unconscious minds to be constantly creating scenarios in which we decide where we stand with when the lines are drawn. My theory is that there are a lot of of negative programming proofs yes but I think there could also be a greater force of positive ideals that are also at play to prepare the hearts of men for battle between good and evil (however it is thought of).
Like a smart member of the forum is apt to remind us, we choose what we perceive/comprehend based on that which is offered to us. While a sheep might see 9/11 and think “time to invade”, we can choose to perceive beyond and before that
