all memory foam is, is un-cured foam. bought a memory foam mattress topper years ago and it did the memory thing for a while, until it cured, and then it was just an ordinary piece of foam. hard to say what i breathed while sleeping as it was off-gassing during the cure.
I bought a My Pillow before it was even memory foam..it was just chipped up foam of all different colors and types..I agree it is just end cuts, rejects brought from other factories.
