It saves them from having to go through a 25th amendment disqualification plus it negates any new information that might come out regarding Joe or Hunter's illicit activities. Also any declassified information that's released after he is assassinated it seems like the Republicans are up to their bad old assassination tricks.
They are moving the troops to DC to set the expectation for the assassination event. After all, it's about perception, not reality.
The only president's to be assassinated were those who went against the privately owned fed. Funnily it is the common link in all 4 who were assassinated. It's a bonus when the Vax gets widespread in July and Social Distancing/Lockdown/Mask mandates are removed gradually worldwide so they will have full excuse to exterminate America with lockdowns and social distancings (but every other person are unaffected -- Think of the Americans when Europe is going to hell in WWII) and ban masks (for more riots against government hypocrisy).
