Agreed, I never noticed it until I got on the conspiracy sub though.
Meanwhile back in reality 3% of people are having some kind of serious reaction to the first dose of this thing.

Its a fucking death cult.
Where have you been the last 10 years?
IMHO, it happened "overnight".
... and im staunch on douchebaggery, as it comes w/ the territory, but the scales tipped and reddit has been compromised.
I think it really stepped up in 2016
Yep, that’s when things shifted from a general “info war” to safespace propaganda chambers being constructed and insulated from outside thought.
When I started on it, reddit was basically just young libertarian leaning guys sharing cool links and ideas. But good lord it’s just pure fucking feces 24/7 these days. Even r/con has been reduced to 90% dogshit thanks to all the astroturfing and the dipshits who repeat the astroturfing as if it were an original thought.
Can you explain "astroturfing"?
Astroturf = plastic (unnatural) made to look like grass (natural)
Astroturfing = retards/shills/people who can’t think for themselves (unnatural) domination discourse so completely you can’t see any dissenting opinions (natural) leading people who don’t know better to think the only thing people agree on is the shill comments.
For every story that shows Ellen Degeneres saying she is "very, very lucky" she didn't have any complications from COVID you will see exactly zero stories of anyone famous saying they are very lucky they didn't have complications from the vaccine even though the odds are essentially identical.
fuck reddit
most of it is propaganda.
Its hard to figure out what has been really upvoted and what is artificially inflated by bots or what has been artificially suppressed.
This is the type of shit that stopped me from browsing reddit. From "innocent" subs like /r/pics to state/city subreddits and almost everything else, the same narratives at the top. "look at these bad people not wearing masks", "vaccines are great", "orange man bad".
The orange man bad 24/7 was almost enough to make me quit reddit and I'm not even American.
That's gonna come back and bite somebody in the arse.
It will take about 2-4 years for most people to realize BigTech is censoring way to many things. By then Biden and their ilk will find a way to kill the internet (think killing 230, or reviving the TPP). And because reddit and BigTech are censoring information, the warnings about what the corrupt congress is doing will not reach people until its to late.
I'm ok with this. It's a part of history. I hang little noose's, swastikas and burning crosses on my tree to remember awful parts of history. Forget the ornaments from my kids first Christmas. Priorities.
