pushing certain ideas. They have shills with various psychological jobs working undercover all the time. The only real defense we have is that everybody who uses these sites fully understand these dynamics are in play and try to stay on the sites that do the LEAST censoring or consensus manipulation.

It's only a matter of time before large numbers of shills show up here. They've been increasing their volume on ruqqus, which was previously nicely shill-free. Once a community gets to a certain reach, it's going to get invaded. All you can do is make people aware of their tactics and outnumber them. Not sure if this .win has a policy about banning shills or not, but, imho, it wouldn't be a bad idea.
I think they'd much rather censor everything and cut people off from communicating with each other, and only consume "approved" media.
