Now that it looks like Julian Assange is going to get a pardon from President Trump, maybe he will reveal who the source actually was. He as much as inferred it was Seth Rich, but never said it directly.
My take is that the FBI had to look at it because of all the accustations etc. It doesn't really mean they found anything or that anything was covered up.
But that's just my skeptic take. No one's ever been able to prove that a Data Analyst like Rich would have any access whatsoever to the whole DNC email system, nor has anyone ever mentioned that Rich was any sort of hacker.

Hillary(Seth Rich), Hunter and Weiner DATA leaks and the DOJ hasn't done jack. Why? You may ask, well its quite simple if you think about it.
