Yeah it's a unified system like Reddit, but with separate top level domains. Kinda weird, means each new site requires purchasing a new domain name and cert.

That's why the USA 2020 death count of 250k is the same as all the previous years.

The flu death count? Maybe you should check your numbers. Average flu deaths are like 50k per year.

What is the conspiracy you would like to discuss? This isn't thedonald.win (or at least that's what I'm told).

tmuktkpuqzyc -4 points ago +1 / -5

Oooo sick burn, you really got me. I guess I was thrown off by OP not remembering what they themselves just posted.

I am engaging in good faith, I'm disagreeing. It's not like this is a post we can really discuss deeply, it's off-topic with no conspiracy references and very little content overall.

-3
tmuktkpuqzyc -3 points ago +1 / -4

It's true, I do.

tmuktkpuqzyc 1 point ago +2 / -1

Ah conspiracies.win, where actual statistics are silently downvoted and sexy photos of the first lady are upvoted to the top. What a quality place we've got here.

-4
tmuktkpuqzyc -4 points ago +1 / -5

That's fine, but I'm responding to the material content of OP's post, which is

I would still be okay with it if it meant my kids (and everyone else's) could not wear masks, touch and see people during their lives.

tmuktkpuqzyc -4 points ago +1 / -5

Yeah no shit, but that's neither here nor there, I'm responding directly to the actual content of OP's post.

I would still be okay with it if it meant my kids (and everyone else's) could not wear masks, touch and see people during their lives.

-5
tmuktkpuqzyc -5 points ago +1 / -6

Sure I do. I also see a difference between a mild temporary inconvenience (mask) for one and permanent termination of life (death) for the other. Do you really feel differently?

-3
tmuktkpuqzyc -3 points ago +3 / -6

It sounds pretty selfish to trade the lives of everyone over 60 so that your kids don't have to wear masks for a year (working on the same assumption you posed here, that everything we're told is true).

Sure enough, if you subtract the missing 23 days in January from the 317 total on that slide for 2020, deaths per day becomes 8385 and projected deaths for 2020 becomes 3060525 which is 221320 more than 2018. At the time of this slide (November 13) worldometers reports 249899 US covid deaths. Given that other causes of death are predicted to be down, that seems pretty close to the official numbers.

I also ran some numbers myself, though much fewer numbers :)

I pulled the last 4 years of weekly raw data from the CDC here: https://gis.cdc.gov/grasp/fluview/mortality.html

Then I tallied and compared the totals for the first 47 weeks of each year:

2017 2515944

2018 2551868

2019 2559485

2020 2886361

Based on this data, total deaths are indeed up over 300,000 this year vs each of the last 3 years, which were each within 50,000 of one another.

That seems significant to me. What are your thoughts OP?

1
tmuktkpuqzyc 1 point ago +2 / -1

A social media post would absolutely not satisfy the skeptics. Nothing is real!

2
tmuktkpuqzyc 2 points ago +3 / -1

I'm skeptical of this sketchy screenshot, but was intrigued so I pulled the last 3 years of weekly raw data from the CDC and ran the numbers myself.

Here's where I downloaded weekly raw data from: https://gis.cdc.gov/grasp/fluview/mortality.html

Here are the totals for the first 47 weeks of each year:

2017 2515944

2018 2551868

2019 2559485

2020 2886361

Based on this data, total deaths are indeed up over 300,000 this year vs each of the last 3 years.

I think perhaps where OP (or whoever made that screenshot) got confused is that the data at the second link they provided does not include January of this year.

Week ending 2/1/2020 to 12/12/2020.*

this parasitic techno-finance creature has created its own bubble of reality, in which people can live and prosper so long as they agree to live in a total lie

Completely agree.

Not different from Reddit. On Reddit each mod has seniority over mods who come after them, and can remove any mod below them in the chain.

But yeah, this place definitely needs more mods. When completely off-topic trump propaganda images get regularly upvoted to the top of Hot, you know the community alone isn't going to be the solution.

Maybe the TDW crowd will lose interest in time and we can get back to focusing on conspiracies. But until then it seems like we need mods to remove clearly off topic material.

Not that bizarre if you think about what it would be like to be in her position. Probably getting bombarded by literally thousands of messages a day from pro- and anti-vaxxers alike.

thedonald is leaking.

-1
tmuktkpuqzyc -1 points ago +2 / -3

Ah I see, I didn't understand that you were talking specifically about r/conspiracy vs conspiracy.win, despite that being the topic of the post.

-6
tmuktkpuqzyc -6 points ago +2 / -8

Very very few here are even remotely racist, more less, nazi or fascist or authoritarian.

Eh, a lot of folks on thedonald these days have been promoting unilateral executive actions like martial law and public executions. The rest of the community does not argue against this, or if they do the mods must be censoring them.

So, I think there's certainly a similar case to be made for both sides. But that said, I agree with MagaPede69. It's neither very accurate, nor helpful, to lean on such labels to shout down the side you don't agree with.

It was declined because the appropriate forum for challenging the constitutionality of a state's election laws is the state supreme court. Who cares what some random staffer was shouting?
