You must understand that stars are so far away there is a 'forced perspective' that always keeps them in a relative position. Like, when you're in a car or plane at night and staring at the moon, the moon seems to stay aligned with you, never moving from your perspective because it is at such a considerable distance away from you it seems to 'hang' in the same field of view. Also, the earth does not wobble quickly. Each wobble takes 26,000 years to complete it's cycle.

WTF are you talking about? The image shows black circles for planets, blue lines for asteroids, and red lines for commit orbits. Jupiter and Venus's conjunction happens when the earth is ~2 o'clock, Venus is at 12 o'clock, and Jupiter at 10 o'clock so you are not looking towards the sun.
As a result, similar conjunctions of Venus and Jupiter occur in regular intervals of about 3 years and 3 months. What makes a conjunction a good one? Conjunctions are `good' if the planets are far enough from the Sun to be observed easily after sunset or before sunrise.
