With their progress banning nnn and quarantining others, the trolls are coming for r/conspiracy which is loaded with nnn type posts. Ironically, this rona thing has attracted a large percentage of trolls that used to be aimless jerks, now they can finally tell other to go die and not get banned if it's in the name of covid prevention. That's interesting if they are blocking .win links but not the nnn one though, is it because .win is too much competition for them? However if they get quarantined, maybe they will change their attitude.
Are there any mechanisms here on .win to prevent the upvote shill bots from doing the same here? It seems to be a weakness for this kind of system. Even mods heavily moderating can't completely stop the shill bot attacks.

There is so much crap in the food, water, and air, it's a wonder we all don't drop down dead at this rate. The latest is they can put nanoparticles in the food and they don't have to list it in ingredients. For instance M&Ms have them, which pisses me off as that is one of the few junk snacks I used to still eat. Another one is pop-tarts but those taste like damp cardboard so no danger of me eating those..
Yeah i noticed a few years ago, suddenly the term 'antivaxxer' was all over reddit and I was wondering why suddenly it was such a big deal. I mean we've long had a few that did not get kids vaccinated yet there are no mass deaths amongst the Amish. Then it gets even stupider when we start talking about flu shots etc. So for decades it was not a big deal and then suddenly I am supposed to fear that armageddon is neigh even though nothing has really changed? However I didn't think much of it until this rona thing, then it seemed pretty clear they planned ahead for this with propaganda.
Welp we can still hope one tiny seed of his efforts makes it through the storm and survives to sprout again in the future.
Yeah I don't wish horrible stuff on people that were just naive and blindly trusted the lying tv. And especially as an older person, the tv was not quite so full of absolute blatant lies in the past, it's gotten really really bad in recent years. I think a lot of people my age and older do not realize how much things have changed.
Got it so he made it open source when means anyone can nab the reddit source code and make a copy of reddit and stick it on a diff server and it's totally legal? I am going to guess the current operators of reddit can't change that or they already would have. That's cool! Is that why this venue looks and navigates a lot like reddit? To be honest, I like that because I don't have to learn a whole new system.
seriously how have so many people lost their minds? Australia forced vaxxed 24k kids some have died. I don’t believe any of my friends would have backed that years ago.
Yep, IDK what is happening either but many people seem to be in some kind of brainwashed fog lately, they can't listen to or understand logic and they forget things like it never happened, it's scary as hell, they are like pod people.
Are you saying that he maybe set up reddit that way because he saw the danger and wanted to make sure that others could compete with reddit? I know very little about programming so I am not sure the significance of your words.
Maybe or maybe not. I know plenty of peeps IRL that got the arm poke but are not wishing to force it on others or be big dicks about it. I know it feels good to think that everyone who gets side effects from the vaccine deserved it but sadly some of them don't.
