What’s funny is the origin of the word utopia was mocking the idea as an unattainable mental projection of those who seek to control others.

The literal translation of “utopia” is “nowhere”

If both political parties (realistically, not just both, but every major party on fucking earth) agrees on the vaccine, how is a discussion of it “political”?

Yeah, no doubt and thanks, I actually mean a sorting option for the front page though. So your front page would ignore upvotes in terms of post ranking, and order them based on which had the most recent comment.

Kind of like a mix between Reddit and 4chan

Ahh ok we’re in agreement.

And re:karma I agree as well, it was way worse on reddit but you see the same retarded shit here. People making comments to appeal to upvotes instead of to progress a conversation.

I think this place might benefit from a “sort by recent comment” option, so as long as the discussion continues the post remains relavent, instead of this gay ass “survival of the begging-for-upvotes-of-the-fittest” which just results in garbage, unsubstantial social media links

Unfortunately not, didn’t expect them to wipe such an “established” account. It was just your bog-standard concern trolling in an attempt to control the narrative though so you aren’t missing much.

Maybe if the admins show up in this thread like they did my last one they can scrounge up the text from their end.

What do you mean? This shill was being tolerated and even agreed with by the admins. He only deleted his account after it was pointed out with enough evidence to be undeniable.

For sure, no problem.

These power user faggots (they eventually transition to power mods) were the bane of reddit, making each community they ruled more insular and inbred until eventually they get hired as a site admin.

Just trying to avoid that here. Looks like one of his alts is already here downvoting lol. Fortunately there’s a karma limit here so he can’t just mass downvote without farming a few accounts up to snuff.

My point all along has been that conspiracies (at a minimum, I haven’t spent much time on KiA or Consoom) isnt purely political, and using “politics” as an excuse to hide vaccine hesitancy and the other {woke} topics here from the front page is gayer than aids and an obvious attempt at normie-izing this place.

Are you sure you understood what was happening in that other thread? Almost all your downvotes came from one user, the OP (and his dozen accounts). He is one of the only people asking to hide this community, and he had made more than a few posts/attempts to achieve that goal, the linked thread being the most recent.

He was (in that thread and a few others) pushing to keep various communities off the front page, such as conspiracies, kotakuinaction, consumeproduct, etc.

The admins state that regardless of power user opinions they’ve “always” intended to hide “politics” from the front page (including conspiracies apparently), I just find it weird that the “users” most supportive of this move, were all shills and the alts of shills, and most of the real users seem to oppose it.

Gotta get those normie clicks I guess, and we can’t have anti vax cOnSpIrAcY tHeORiEs scaring them off can we.

Huh so you guys can rapidly show up to squelch dissent but can’t answer any of my questions.

Did y’all delete ragnars account or was he so embarrassed by my exposing his shilling, or had his account served its purposes?

The vaccine is supported by both parties, so clearly you guys are using some crazy definition of politics to reach this conclusion.

Or you don’t want things that are “off-putting” to normies on the front page. That’s fine, but that’s a moderation issue within a community, not one that can be solved by slapping the label “politics” on it and treating it like retard containment. That’s how /b/ started and we all know how 4chan turned out. Not to mention Reddit’s quarantining of TD through various backend manipulations...

History has been politicized, is a discussion on that “politics” now?

Race has been politicized, is a discussion on that “politics” now?

Humor has been politicized, is a discussion on that “politics” now?

Religion has been politicized, is a discussion on that “politics” now?

Life has been politicized, is a discussion on that “politics” now?

What the fuck? Vaccines are “politics” now? ...Or do you just not want “anti-vaxx science denialism” on the front page?

Hey look, a cyclically inactive alt of Ragnar’s! Come to save the day and astroturf some opinions.

Just like on reddit, if this happens a series of consequential actions will occur.

By default, Conspiracies will be hidden from c/all and c/home (because you are unsubscribed by default).

Thus, for the best content of the sub to be seen by anyone who isn’t already here means it would need to be cross posted to, for example, c/general, or c/health or whatever.

But wait, those subs are all now “moderated” by faggots like u/ragnar_danneskjold (after these changes, right now the mods are just the admins themselves for most subs). You’ve been banned for “off topic posting”, you’re told “there’s already a sub for your garbage”. You’re then “blocked” by the autistic cripple in a breath powered wheelchair, I mean moderator.

Fin.

If you look at his criticisms, they seem to solely fixate on {noticing patterns}. This place is a little too woke for the “trust the plan” shills that run things, I guess.
