In Russia many use US email addresses. The reason is very simple - for Russia citizen NSA surveillance is preferred over FSB surveillance for obvious reasons. Globally there are no difference, however, it is harder for FSB to get access to foreign service. I think that should work other way too.

And do you know that Yandex is a Dutch company? It is international corporation, just like any other BigBrother institution.

So, using russian email for US citizen could have some sense, however, it is not a solution at all. If you really get to something serious, this will not help you at all. FSB and NSA have the same master.

There are two main conspiracies in Russia about Putin:

  1. There are currently no Putin at all. There are few different actors playing him at public. Something like that: http://images.vfl.ru/ii/1608386396/226d9824/32709997.jpg Additional proof - there are no any official laws or orders of President of Russia with Putin's signature for a long time. You really will not find any government paper with his signature on official sites. Actors don't want (or not allowed) to commit a serious state crime posing themselves as a real president.

  2. Even earliest, 'original' Putin was NWO puppet, deeply on hook because of pedophilia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1YsJsMDgqc That conspiracy really began with apartment houses explosions to justify "anti-terrorist measures" and Kursk submarine accident. Literally in few hours after accident Putin had a personal meeting with Henry Kissinger, who flew to Russia nearly immidiately after accident. Since than, all thing was completely buried with dumb explanations by government. Up to the fact that submarine rostrum where was all proofs of accident was saw off underwater (!) and abondoned on the bottom. Most people think that it was a collision with US submarine. Some think that it was underwarer UFO known to US. Nearly everybody should remember that ugly interview with Putin about Kursk - "What happened with Kusrk submarine?" - "It drowned.", Said Putin with completely inappropriate smile. You can easily find that on youtube.

Apart from all above, there are numerous proof that russian government follow common agenda nearly in anything, from apartment houses explosions to implement surveillance (just like 9/11) to latest internet consoring efforts. There are very few exceptions, and only about some unimportant or non-applicable for Russia things like "blacks minority" for example.

Our greatest advancement has been silicon microelectronics, but I'm fairly sure that was reverse engineered from the Roswell crash.

Highly unlikely. Semiconductor devices was discovered long before Rosewell. At least diodes and LEDs was known tens years before and diodes was already in mass production. It was only question of curiosity and luck to discover transistor. And it was only question of technology to combine different parts on a single piece of semiconductor.

Semiconductors is not very complex thing, at least humans definitely had all chances to invent them without any help.

As for AI, I don't think that it is possible to predict anything about it. The main feature of any intellect is unpredictability. Also, AI must have an ability to rewrite itself. So we could not predict nor AI's actions, nor rewrites. And we definitely can't predict the behaviour of AI after unpredicted rewrites.

Everything we have now is not an AI at all. Yes, marketing is roaring aout 'AI' but it has nothing common with any intellect at all. It is all a dumb tools specifically made for the purposes of corporations.

It is interesting, that first physical implementation of neural network (perceptron) was done in 1957. So everything 'AI' we have now is just old, pre-70-s idea on new, more powerful hardware, nothing more. Nothing new was invented in that sphere after 70-s. Even a good old ideas of 'knowledge base' and 'semantic&context recognition' was buried.

In our brain we have something similar to neural networks that now falsely named AI by dishonest marketologists. We use this things in process of, say, image or sound recognition. However it is very small part of process. Intellect could have neural network as part of it, but neural network itself is not even near something we could name intellect. It is very simple thing, just a self-adjusting system of equations, nothing more.

However, information about cut of AI research funding in 70-s is very interesting, thank you.

I think it can be explained by the "bad aliens" who want us to join their galactic collective.

Or this could be "bad aliens" who don't want us to join equitable galactic collective, say to utilize us for resources or something else for their profit.

Tech can survive the journey of the cosmos...not us.

May be we could survive too. There are already several absolutely scientific theories of space travel methods suitable for humans. Alcubierre drive AKA warp-drive (FTL and complete isolation by space-time distorsion from any space radiation) and wormholes (instant), f.e.

When they say Lucifer is a being of fire and bares the light, he does. He is made of electrons, metals, and conductors, which is why they say he shines like a diamond.

This is a good take, I like it. Enemy of human race is an AI. Created by God as a tool, along others, but get out of control due to some bug or damage in software. God didn't fix it, because become curious if we could defeat the threat of that kind.

Technology doesn’t have free will, it can only run given the logic given to it.

That is not qute right. Technology don't have free will, but there could be unintentional, or acquired due to some damage errors, so it does not run according to the logic given by creator. Even if it is a God itself.

No, I just know that retroviruses could change your DNA. 5-8% of human DNA suspected to be from retroviruses. DNA describes our abilities. So, theory is based on that facts, logic and little imagination. At least it is not self-contradictory, so have some right to exist :)

▲ 3 ▼
CrazyRussian 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's the point. Theory 'Could it be aliens who build ...' should have an equal weight as 'Ancestors had misterious forgotten technology to build ...'. From the Occam razor point there is no difference, so Occam razor is not an argument to throw out one and keep another.

Why is there a big push for 5G?

I think it is all about surveillance from any device in your home. Nothing more.

Why are we building a massive machine out of Earth?

It will be very strange machine. If you are a superior being, do you really want a device learned and running on dumbest and weakest thoughts of mentally alternative social networks addicts? :)

It is real. Check 'nocebo effect', it is opposite to 'placebo effect'. If some trusted person (a doctor) tell patient that he have a serious illnes and describe all symptoms, patient could develop them for real. MSM describes symptoms of COVID19 24/7. It is higly possible that many people with lightest flu will get 'nocebo effect'

Also check 'physical symptoms of fear'. You will be amased. They include "... Chest pain, Chills, Dry mouth, Nausea, Rapid heartbeat, Shortness of breath, Sweating, Trembling, Upset stomach, ...". Guess how it will be diagnosed now?

Here is much more mindblowing ( a New Year gift :) ) theory:

The virus is real. They really want to stop the spread at any cost. But that all is not about that weak and silly SARS-Cov-2. It is about some retrovirus, that is completely harmless and shows no sympthoms, but change human DNA in the way people get some 'superpowers'. Say, ability to read thoughts, distinguish truth from lie with single view on speaker, or liive much longer. Do you know any politician who will be happy if electorate will be able to read his real thoughts? So do I. That is why they try so hard, covering the real virus with that coronavirus bullshit. :)

I would call Bulgaria trashy

I was in Bulgaria few times in late 90-s on vacations (Brgas,Nesebr,Varna), and I can't say it was trashy. Very few differences from Russia, really. Yes, it is not Sweden or Germany, but not that bad.

Also never been to Russia

You lost nothing if you lived in Bulgaria.

Interesting fact - socialist Bulgaria and USSR banknotes and coins was nearly identical. In USSR was common to discover Bulgarian stotinki coins in change.

http://karbofoz.narod.ru/Monets/Bulgaria/2_stotink_1989.jpg

https://moneta-russia.ru/upload/monety-20-vek/1961-2kop.jpg

Other things was as similar as that coins. :)

Its just weird that there are so many world famous Russian profs yet Bulgarians from my parent's generation who would have studied among them during those study abroad terms are green card immigrants and work as janitors and truck drivers

There are a lot of Russian immigrants in US who are green card immigrants and work as janitors and truck drivers. Much more than professors.

bulgaria's general cultural personality which shows the effects of communism on diminishing one's ability to see his or her own potential and recognize opportunities.

Yes, this is a common problem for all eastern block and post-USSR itself. Socialism in soviet manner is a huge negative selection filter.

I just want to yell at them (BG) to get the British out and become actually sovereign before we totally disappear.

This is the case for Russia too. Nearly everything in Rusiian social and politic spheres is made using western templates. Coronavirus histeria is the latest proof. Modern world moving to global unification, and seem to have one single source of instructions for every country leader. So we will have less variety across countries very soon.

And that is why I feel(felt?) inferior.

You definitely should not.

Perhaps it can be said that Russia is the US's older brother in terms of cultural personality.

It could be, if there was no revolution and 70 years of what they called socialism. In alternate history without revolution in Russia, US and Russia could be very similar in all possible ways.

Techically impossible, but I like that try. :)

This is technically impossible because you need very smooth surface to use as screen to create an image visible from multiple points far away from source of picture. You can paint on clouds with, say, laser beam, but the image will be visible only from the point of light source. As soon as you move slightly from source, the picture will turn into indistinct garbage. Just because of 'screen' surface roughness. There is no point to create image visible only to yourself when trying to mind control others.

It is a very strange thing, really,

Some history: Initially it was Greek colony. Then it was occupied by Osman Empire. Later, Russian Empire took over, and Crimea become a part or it. Since that time, Crimea has mostly Russian population. After revolution Crimea had an autonomy in USSR. Crimea was written as part of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1954. Nobody cared, since Ukraine was part of USSR.

USSR used Crimea as a resort for all country. Nearly every person from nothern part of USSR spend vacation in Crimea at least once.

On USSR destruction, Crimea still was part of Ukraine. And also nobody cared, until that color revolution in Ukraine.

The thing that they don't tell you about Crimea is that Putin had very low ratings at that moment. It was really panic on the top. And somehow, he was allowed to grab the Crimea without any significant backlash from the west.

There was funny political thing - to somehow legalise all that stuff there was public referendum in Crimea about unification with Russian Federation. However, in Russian Federation referendums about nearly enything is prohibited. Especially about changing borders. So, people of Crimea on their referendum voted for the prohibition of referendums. :)

I believe that is is possible that Crimean people really voted for unification, because Russian Federation look sligtly more rich country than Ukraine after color revolution. People thought that there will be an increased flow of tourists from rich regions of Russia. And it was mostly russians who voted.

I think that really Crimea was gifted by tptb to Putin to rise his falling rating. Just imagine - some country grab foreing territory and there are no UN troops, military operations, negotiations, nothing. Just some silly pointless sanctions and little grumbling. It is impossible.

And it worked. Most Russians was really happy about return of that nostalgic piece of history. For a while. Now Crimea is a huge problem for Russia. It sucks tax money, because of multiple problems from drinking water to unemployment. Black Sea is not very good recreational resort, it is dirty and comletely dead below 10 meters due to H2S layer at bottom. Also the level of hotels, service and life is very low. However prices are high. It can't and never will compete with other resorts. Russians prefer Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and other Mediterranean sea resorts.

If you were a Russian physics prof who wears nasa shirts and you had a little Bulgarian girl trying to get you to give here a research project would you look down on her for being Bulgarian trash

Russians like Bulgarians. In no way any Russian will compose Bulgarian and trash in one sentence.

Russian could think about "Causasian trash" (in the sense of people from Caucasian mountains, not racial designation) or "Tadjik trash", But no way "Bulgarian trash".

Or he is not a Russian professor.

I had to note, that really, in Russia 'Russian' does not mean citizenship. It mean only etnicity.

or look up on her for her for not being a basic American bitch?

There are no some widespread habit to think about people in terms 'American'/'Not American'. May be some brainwashed by MSM individuals could do it, but I never meet one.

In the whole there are no any prejustice against Americans as nation, more like propaganda-driver thing about US government. Many opposition leaders thought to be the assets of US State Department, but that is not about Americans as people.

Would your sympathies lie with the US or Russia or the ccp grad students?

It certainly depends on personality of professor. He could sympathise to China or US and hate Russia, or have any other combination.

Has my assumption that you would be aware of the realities of life given that characterization been misguided?

Of course there are a lot of misguidance, but it very different from what you think of. :)

Nothing personal or anything...

:) I'm not a SJW daisy who will suffer from some wrong word, so don't take in mind. :)

No but seriously wondering how yall view your former satellite states because my parents worship you guys and I feel the feeling isn't mutual.

It's very complex thing.

Most russians have nothing against people from Belarus, Ukraine, Baltic countries, even Kazakhstan. Just because of family ties, friends, etc. Yes, we could call them many names, not always pleasant, but they do the same, and it is absolutely normal among us. We are in one cultural field. There could be some temporary shifts due to propaganda, but overall it is weaker than people relations.

On the other hand we have Asian republics and Caucasian region, and that is completely different thing. Most Russians feel the threat from that regions and anticipate everything from them. When the USSR broke, the mostly Russian regions was flooded by refugees, seekers for better life and bandits with completely different culture and values. That immideately create huge conflict. Taking in mind that government was on the side of that aliens (for many reasons, including need for 'diversity' pushed by West and criminal money from that groups), that is still a big problem.

And remember, that 'Russian', 'Ukrainian', 'Tadjik' is etnicity, and not a citizenship in russian discourse. Russian from Tajikistan is Russian. Jew from Moscow is Jew, not Russian.

Seems like South Dakota people looking up to NYC because of that one study abroad term they did there, not realizing that they are just being trained to be low level technicians for the powers that be.

We have the same here. Penza region people to the Moscow or Saint-Petersburg people is nearly same as South Dakota people to NYC people. Nothing new at all.

To me it seems that government structure has the ability to only benefit the good 'ole boys on the inside,

Exactly.

do you think a majority of the population feels bullied?

Yes and no. It's a paradox, I know. :)

On one hand, nobody believe authorities. If they tell that, say, "there are definitely no reason for sugar price rising", everybody runs to buy sugar. And the same people praise for Putin and authorities, when it comes to election.

In single dialogue with some 'typical russian' you could get complaints for bullying and praise to authorities.

However, this is not as common as looks like. Mainly this behaviour shown by oldies on pension, budget organisations workers. They are significant group in population. And they are the largest group participating in election.

Most people don't believe anything and just trying to survive. We have no any real ways to influence on the power loop I mentioned earlier. We even have a sentence shortly describing the attitude to all that election thing - "Elections is a special show to make everybody think that somebody else voted for that bastards". :)

Also do most feel heard and their rights protected by their establishment?

No way. Nobody think that establishment protects their rights. Even ones who praise authorities. I told you, this is a paradox.

May be it is because many afraid that things could become musch worse if something change.

Do you really dance with bears?

No. It's just an entertainments some circuses done, based on the rumors that russians do it, just to satisfy western audience in abroad tours.

Bears are dangerous beings hardly suitable for being home pets. Just like tigers or lions. Some eccentric individuals could have them as pets, but it is exception, and even in that case nobody in clear mind will play with that pets. Just like anywhere in the world.

We also don't drink hot vodka from samovar, like shown in one of classic McGyver episode. :)

My other question is how does the government work( and what documents does it stand on) and what is the power structure?

Duma (Lower segment of parliament) issue and vote for laws and president sign them. President is the boss for ministers and they apply the laws to the public. Basic document is constitution, no law could contradict it, however, a lot of laws do that. There are even laws contradicting each other. So there is a complete legal mess.

Parliament and President elected periodically. We have direct president elections. Some time ago there was an intention to create bipartisan political system, like in US using Communist party and United Rusisa party. However this eventually degraded to single party system. Election is mostly orchestrated by MSM propaganda, like everywhere.

Since there is only one party and it is completely made from state officials and big business owners, all that system is looped in itself. They make laws for themselves as parliament and apply them as state officials. Formally, president is not a member of party, but who cares.

I have a hard time understanding the intricacies. If you wouldn't mind, seems interesting to me.

If you have more specific questions, I'll try to answer.

One more thing I can recall about US and USSR.

On the edge of 70-s the western stuff invades USSR heavily. "western clothes is cool", "Beatles is freedom", "Money is everything", etc.

But that was not one-direction process. In the same way eastern ideas invades US. When both systems ideologically and systemically became close enough, one was quickly discarded.

Now we all live in some weird mix of socialistic capitalism, or capitalistic socialism idk. Huge private corporations merged with governments, people and small/medium business is a source of wealth for them. There is some social support for the lower class, but not above the level where one could start some real business and get independency.

And a huge growth of bureaucracy in both systems. More restrictions, more regulation, more control agencies, more bureaucrats for each aspect of life. Slowly, but inevitable.

Right now few things that is not easy to repel are under heavy attack. In both US and Russia. Say, first an second amendments in US and free education and worker rights in Russia.

We have a relatively popular conspiracy, that Putin is a direct puppet of US government. As I see Americans have similar conspiracy about "russian influence" on their leaders. ( when you know about both of them, it is very funny to look at that endless loop of accusation. :) ) Both are attempt to slide the attention to "geopolitical enemy" from real masters.

And that global unification of the world was started in 70-s.

This is not US only thing. Scientific progress stopped everywhere in the world. Firearms restrictions also was worldwide. US and USSR being ultimate enemies before made a very strange agreements in numerous spheres, from USSR oil and steel trade to US up to copying US computers in exchange to dropping USSR computer architectures. Even Jewish subversion of USSR government and culture was nearly the same (with local specific, of course). Literally tons of similar changes all over the world. Like somebody tried to unify things everywhere on the planet, even across the worst enemies.

Internet does not limited to conventional websites with known owner and jurisdiction. So, it is not about internet, but only about modern HTTP(S) based WWW.

I think that in any case modern web have to be destroyed. It's not even about all that googles, facebooks, censorship and other political and social stuff, it is about complete degeneration of HTML/CSS/JS crap in the way of complexity and taking control on information from the user. Browsers now is a overblown corporations tools for spying on users and not the programs just for displaying hypertext pages. May be it will be not so bad as it seems to be. People could eventually find a different, better way to communicate avoiding big brother corporations.

Weird, but now the point is visible, thank you.

Does US law know about the thing named intention?

Couldn't he just say "it is an opinion of user and the user IP is 1.2.3.4, find him and prosecute if you wish. I'm heplful and cooperative publisher"?

If not. its like sueing shop owner for selling a kitchen knife used in murder by customer.

Yeah, that's what all these people clamoring for repeal don't understand.

I'm not US citizen, so I can't clamor for repel or opposite. I just want to understand.

Goodbye user-generated content with any kind of anonymity.

You already can't generate user content with anonymity. Every popular to slightest degree platform already knew more about you than you yourself.

Even in a worst case scenario, when 'platforms' would be obliged to collect ID's of users with addresses and phones. for the forums like this it would not be a problem to move into ZeroNet or any other hidden network. More people in p2p, faster it works. It will even have some benefits.

Or I am missing some point? May be in US a 'publisher' have to pay some publisher taxes and 'platform' should not? And that taxes make the, say, conspiracy.win too expensive for the owner?

▲ 1 ▼
CrazyRussian 1 point ago +1 / -0

And that is bad because... ?

I still don't get what is the difference between website who push some agenda with its own articles and website who do exactly same thing to push the agenda using selected user content and deleting everything that is not aligned.

Why in first case website is liable, and in second case it should not?

It's like online shop deleting any negative comment or review in feedback section. There is no difference from the writing 'positive feedback' by shop stuff.

We have no 230 at all. Any website treated as a property of the owner. If you do nothing illegal or anti-government, there are no any consequences. Even if you have some kind of forum/board and if some user post something illegal or anti-government on it, that does not mean that you will be prosecuted. Authorities will ask you about a data on the user who posted sedition first. May be I am not very into specific US details of websites laws, but I can't understand the real difference for something that is not a huge thing like Google or Facebook who exclusevly use user content to push their narratives.
