I was no longer compatible with the current broken paradigm. I was almost certainly right about vaccines, COVID, and the 2020 election fraud. These disturbing truths will eventually be acknowledged and addressed. When they are, those who accurately called out the script likely won’t be afforded their due accolades and redemption. The damage was already done through their initial silencing. But hopefully we as a society can learn from our tragic mistakes.
I cut my teeth during an exciting era of the internet, a product of a different time. I believe in a free, open and decentralized web. Instead, we currently find ourselves living in a post-Truth, post-conspiracy society. Now that everything is a conspiracy, nothing is a conspiracy. The semantic satiation is complete. With the absurdity of the COVID hoax and the 2020 election fraud, up is now down, and violent protests are peaceful.
It’s coming into focus with breathtaking clarity. We see now that life itself is the ultimate conspiracy, and the information war represents the front line of this cosmic struggle. It has been one of the great privileges of my life to serve as a digital soldier on the front lines of this fight. The archaic and moribund power structures are fading fast into utter irrelevancy, and we are witnessing their dying gasps and spasms.
As for me, a massive psychological burden has been lifted since I left reddit. I no longer log in to obsessive threats on a daily basis. I no longer have to combat armies of trolls and shills dedicated to slandering and harassing me and my community. And my conscience is clear! I spoke my truth when I saw it, and I used my platform to protect the freedom to safely speculate about conspiracy theories without being subjected to mass mob persecution. I have zero regrets.
Since my ban, I’ve reignited hobbies and passions that I’d been neglecting. I still post on conspiracies.win, but that forum is in good hands now if I were to ever leave, and I continue to take pride in that smaller but blossoming and refreshingly stimulating community.
If the admins ever decide it’s r/conspiracy’s time to go, our new community will be waiting with open arms. However, if the admins do decide to purge r/conspiracy, it will essentially be committing seppuku. r/conspiracy is the demonstrably the last vestige of what once made reddit great.
Even in my absence, even with a lackluster mod team, even with the inundation of shills like never before, and even with the front page of r/all consistently pumping out propaganda, there’s still some quality information to be found at r/conspiracy if you know where to look. For example, some excellent original research on the Las Vegas Shooting was recently pinned by the mods. This is arguably the first quality content featured by r/conspiracy in almost half a year.
Many of my threads from conspiracies.win also manage to occasionally get reposted onto r/conspiracy by folks that still use reddit, like this recent story of Putin calling out the US Government’s hypocrisy regarding January 6. The OP of this thread lifted my title and content straight from conspiracies.win, only to have it rocket to #1 on r/conspiracy. Note the sense of delusional disconnect oozing from the top comments. I love that I’m continuing to give grief to the narrative managers from beyond the grave.
r/conspiracy remains a player. Dare I suggest, is someone on the admin team a “good” guy? Removing me actually protected me, too. I felt dangerously close to being doxxed by these psychopaths. In some ways they prevented the situation from getting out of hand by releasing me.
I often wonder...is there a reddit whistleblower out there?
What actually went down before, during, and after the 2020 election? Why was I suspended for a week just one day before the election? Why did reddit threaten anyone who questioned the election with a site-wide ban? Why was Italygate and other seemingly fanciful theories so controversial and so aggressively attacked?
Why did a Senator call out “reddit conspiracies” in Congress? Why was my account permanently suspended mere hours later? What reddit conspiracies was she referring to? Who told her to use that phrase? The only large subreddit featuring election conspiracies at the time was r/conspiracy, and I was literally the only one highlighting the subject. Was her comment aimed at me?
Did the reddit admins coordinate with the US government concerning the November election and the January false flag at the Capitol? How much coordination exists between the reddit admins and these government agencies? How much coordination exists between the reddit admins and toxic communities dedicated to harassing users of their own website?
And now it’s finally beginning to emerge that there was direct FBI involvement in the Capitol false flag. Genuine and verifiable irregularities in the 2020 election are exploding. The public’s consciousness is shifting. The masks are coming off. Something tells me many of these questions will be answered, and some sooner than you might think.
I have much more to say. They may have confiscated my megaphone, but I will keep broadcasting the truth as I see it until my last breath, with or without it. To all of those who supported me and joined us on the quest for truth and freedom, I love you all more than you’ll ever know. I can’t wait to join hands on the other side!

On the evening of the “insurrection,” I pinned that night’s Congressional hearing at the top of r/conspiracy. I watched live as a Senator specifically called out reddit conspiracies as contributing to the “coup” attempt. Multiple comments noted that r/conspiracy would likely be banned. It ended up being just me that got the boot, but ultimately this move would prove to be a devastating blow for the overall health of r/conspiracy, a wound that continues to fester and one that may eventually prove fatal.
On the morning of January 7, mere hours after the phrase “reddit conspiracies” was evoked in Congress, I issued my final warning to the sub, in an eerily prophetic post predicting an impending “Night of the Digital Long Knives.” I warned everyone that an unprecedented censorship purge was coming, and to prepare accordingly. Within minutes, I was issued a permanent suspension from reddit.
Although they claimed it was for “multiple” violations, they failed to cite anything tangible. Like the phrase “shoot the messenger” I can only imagine they stretched the interpretation of “Night of the Digital Long Knives” enough to claim it was a “call to violence” which it most certainly wasn’t.
I’ll be honest. I spent a decade building that reddit account and earning my position as head mod of a community 1.5 million strong. But when I finally got the ax, I felt such an overwhelming sense of relief that I’m still on that high months later. A massive burden had been lifted. I knew it was coming too. One week earlier I copied all of my decent original research and content from reddit, with links included, onto conspiracies.win. I knew I needed to document my work before it was purged.
The MSM quickly reacted to my ban. Gizmodo and The Daily Dot featured slanderous hit pieces against me. At first I wondered if it was a stretch to connect my suspension from reddit with the complaint about “reddit conspiracies” in Congress mere hours earlier. But the media talking heads quite literally made the connection for me.
The headlines speak for themselves. The modestly-sized subreddit r/donaldtrump was also purged, an expected move because it was the last sizable Trump sub left on reddit. But it’s worth pointing out that my removal was clearly the more relevant and newsworthy event, as reddit conspiracies were being blamed for the “insurrection.” Here’s my response to this drivel posing as journalism.
Removing me was no small matter. Not only was I officially given the position by the admin team, I was a PR nightmare. I exposed the entire hypocrisy of reddit. My story is a microcosm of the cancerous state of social media and Big Tech. I was undeniable proof that destructive and violent behavior was being directly encouraged by the reddit admins, emboldened by the hivemind, and reinforced by the entire structure and functionality of reddit itself. The admins needed me gone, and they needed to do it at the most “distracting” time possible. They couldn’t have picked a better moment.
Within the next few days Trump was banned from social media, and thousands more were silenced. I realized quickly that my “plight” was already old news. It’s hard to bring attention to your unjust ban when half the internet that might’ve had your back got booted next.
As was entirely expected, the narrative managers pounced with rabid glee in the immediate aftermath of my ousting. At long last, the tyrant was gone! r/topmindsofreddit, r/subredditdrama, r/drama and many other subs erupted with rampant circle-jerks delighting in my “defeat.” The r/conspiracy mod team also failed in the aftermath of my removal. A well-meaning thread announcing my suspension was pinned for days, but it was allowed to be brigaded by the censorship celebration threads that had hit the front page of r/all rejoicing that the “conspiracy king” was vanquished at long last.
The plan finally came into focus: they had flooded r/conspiracy with rule breaking comments, compelling me to clean them up and ban the offenders. Since I was the only mod who consistently dealt with these violations, they could then use our publicly available stats against me to say I was a “tyrant” that banned “hundreds” of people for disagreeing with me.
The narrative managers got to work. Whenever anyone asked why I was actually banned, they swooped in with, “It doesn’t matter, he sucked!” There’s a blisteringly obvious parallel between “I’m glad Trump is gone, he’s a meanie!” and “I’m glad axo is gone, he’s a meanie!”
With no one left to push back, the narrative managers descended onto r/conspiracy with a vengeance and soon usurped the forum. With a largely indifferent and inactive mod team, r/conspiracy has been essentially thrown to the wolves. I was one of many thousands punished for the “crime” of being interested in discussing conspiracy theories instead of mocking them. I wasn’t special. They targeted me simply because I was an actual conspiracy theorist who just so happened to be placed in charge of a substantial conspiracy forum on a site otherwise devoted to propaganda.
The deleterious effect of my removal continues to spread. Rule-breaking “meta” comments fill the threads again, because no mod is willing to clean them up and face the coordinated backlash for merely protecting the community. In almost six months, there have been no more AMAs on r/conspiracy. Documentaries are no longer being featured, a fun and constructive process which takes the least bit of effort.
The regular Round Table discussions have also ceased, which is unfortunate because this feature was a fantastic chance for coordinated research. Perhaps it was a bit too effective, as these threads tended to avoid being drowned out and lost in the fray.
And finally, the monthly “transparency reports” that I painstakingly put together to document all of the admin “Anti-Evil” removals on our sub have stopped completely, which should come as no surprise at all.
At first I wondered: why didn’t more genuine r/conspiracy users speak up about what was happening? Didn’t anyone else see that rule breaking comments attacking the r/conspiracy community exploded immediately after I was gone? Didn’t anyone miss the featured documentary threads or the round tables? Didn’t anyone want to know what content the reddit admins were purging and what punishments were being doled out? I soon realized that it wasn’t that nobody cared, it’s just that practically everyone who did care was also purged during this time. No nuance to the narrative would be permitted.
That’s how they control the record. I suspect that many of the continued “complaints” about me originate from bot accounts programmed to spring into action by mentions of my user name. Try to mention me on r/conspiracy today: you will still bring all of the rats out of the woodwork. They remain dedicated to making sure the “axo-as-tyrant” meme persists. But they’re slipping. Like with Trump’s absence, perhaps we all needed to see just how bad things would be without us.
They’re hoping the new generation won’t remember what r/conspiracy, reddit, and the internet in general used to be about. Well, the joke’s on them, because there are still enough of us that do remember, and we are more passionate now in our convictions than ever before. I have hope for the younger generations too.
As I continued sharing election fraud content, the attacks and threats against me reached heights that challenged the peak of Russiagate mania. During the months after the election, a significant chunk of the threads on the front page of r/topmindsofreddit were specifically directed at me. I had now become a singular “threat to democracy” to the narrative managers. The disconnect was striking: the admins were removing comments on r/conspiracy that “misgendered” public figures, and yet they were permitting all manners of harassment and against us.
Over the years, I reported this behavior to the admins countless times. It would only increase in severity. Many of these threats were very graphic and included detailed messages directed at me and my family. Almost nothing was ever done. Entire communities on reddit were dedicated to harassing us. At first they denied it. When it became abundunatly clear they were getting away with it, they finally started admitting it. These are the same individuals that complain that I was a “tyrant” that banned hundreds of “genuine” users from r/conspiracy, only to later gloat that I had banned dozens of their own alt accounts.
I continued sharing information about the various aspects of the election conspiracy, which were piling in as quickly as the ballots late on election night. Whenever live election hearings were held, I made sure to pin them at the top of the sub. These threads were routinely brigaded by the TMORs and their ilk.
Multiple aspects of the election were appearing to be fraudulent. Soon my pattern recognition senses began tingling in earnest, and this time concerning the “Italygate” aspect of the conspiracy. While I felt the details of Italygate to be unreasonably fanciful, namely that rogue US and Italian officials had “stolen” the election through cyber warfare, I couldn’t help but notice the response to Italygate threads had all of the hallmarks of those same topics that hit just a little too close to home.
This suggested that some aspect of Italygate had merit and therefore needed to be silenced or discredited in a blatantly coordinated fashion. This became even more obvious when I pinned an Italygate thread at the top and r/conspiracy.
What happened next was one of the strangest things I’ve ever witnessed on reddit. The thread wasn’t just brigaded, it was obliterated. This digital assault lasted for many days. Users were writing only in Italian, bizarre comments from apparent bots were showing up days later...something strange was happening to that thread.
For the record, I posted very little, if at all about the upcoming “march” to the Capitol. It smelled suspicious. I was more focused at the time by the more feasible approach to the fraud, namely the Constitutional remedy of allowing the state legislatures to analyze the election and determine themselves if any fraud had occurred and if they had the right electors after all.
I was prepared for Senators and Congressmen alike to request a simple overview of the election for a couple of weeks before certification. This was the furthest cry from “stealing an election” imaginable, despite the chorus of unhinged claims to the contrary. Instead, I watched in abject disappointment at perhaps the stupidest and sloppiest false flag in US history. They let several hundred protesters and provocateurs into the Capitol, shot one of them, and then said, “That was scary! Whelp, we can’t review the election now!”
I would think this might qualify as the single dumbest moment in US political history, but this is in a world that accepted the official narratives of the JFK assassination and 9/11. It’s also a world that was literally convinced to shut down and psychologically damage a generation of children over a fake pandemic.
Despite having dedicated myself to r/conspiracy for over a decade, and despite my only prior “infraction” being laughable, I was issued a 7-day suspension by the reddit admins on November 2, 2020. The suspension came one day before the election, and completely cut me off from the community of now nearly 1.5 million subscribers of which I was at the helm.
No valid reason was ever given for this suspension, which came down one day before Big Tech and the Mockingbird Media orchestrated the most egregious election conspiracy in modern times. If this doesn’t at the very least raise an eyebrow or two, I don’t know what else will.
The night of the election Trump essentially told us they were stealing it. The next morning it was stupidly obvious what was happening. The ballots were flowing in for Biden. This was our moment to shine. The biggest conspiracy in a generation was literally unfolding in front of us, and we were the conspiracy theorists on the front lines! As an officer, I could shut up and watch from the rear in safety. But I could also charge, light brigade style, onto the front lines of the digital information war. I didn’t have to think twice.
The conspiracy theorist has traditionally backed the underdog. In many cases, it’s the underdog who is being conspired against. On the morning after the election, when the steal began in earnest, Trump officially became the underdog. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t a plant as is often claimed. But even if he were playing that role, it’s still our obligation to call out a blatantly fraudulent election when we see it, no matter who the “good and bad” guys actually are.
I watched with increased frustration over the following week as r/conspiracy plunged into chaos in my absence. To be blunt, I was the only mod who was consistently cleaning up the “meta” attacks against our community that had previously swamped the comment sections before our rule changes.
These tactics came back with a vengeance when I was gone. In some respects, that week was a preview of what r/conspiracy would eventually become after my eventual banishment. I was well aware that the 7-day suspension typically preceded a permanent ban for the “troublesome” users on reddit. I had seen it happen many times before.
After the election, the admins immediately contacted the r/conspiracy mod team with the instruction that questioning the election results would be forbidden site-wide.
Without me around to push back at such insanity, the remaining mod team complied and temporarily forbade this content on our forum. I essentially watched a practice coup of r/conspiracy unfold before my eyes. This was their plan for the future of the sub. It was time to initiate my contingency plan.
I’m not mincing words here. The fact that the reddit admins suspended me for a week on the day before the election theft is extremely compelling circumstantial evidence that reddit was complicit in the 2020 election conspiracy. In addition, I was specifically targeted so I couldn’t facilitate sounding the alarm in its immediate aftermath.
Temporarily barred from my own community, I immediately got to work. When r/the_donald was eliminated by reddit years earlier, their community moved off-site to the “.win” domain. Today it can be found at “patriots.win.” Several other censored reddit communities also migrated to .win over the years, such as consumeproduct.win and greatawakening.win. I was regularly asked if r/conspiracy would ever make a space there “just in case.”
After my election suspension, it was time. I contacted the .win admins on November 4. Within a few days, “conspiracies.win” was in the works. At the time I thought I was making a backup for r/conspiracy. It ended up being a backup for me and a refuge for other r/conspiracy veterans sacrificed by the reddit thought police.
When I finally returned to r/conspiracy one week later, I started cleaning house. The gaslighting from accounts that were attacking anyone daring to question the election’s integrity was off the charts. The personal attacks were off the charts. And the rule violations were off the charts.
And still, my commitment to defending our right to discuss the unfolding election conspiracy on a conspiracy forum was mischaracterized as fanatical support for Trump. What was actually occurring was my realization that we were living through perhaps the most comprehensive political conspiracy in modern US history. As the head mod of a substantial conspiracy forum, it would be unconscionable for me to sit on my hands and kowtow to the digital Stasi.
I began to pin the public election fraud hearings that were occurring on a regular basis. I made sure the election conspiracy discussion was being regularly featured on r/conspiracy. Was I responsible for trying to focus r/conspiracy’s attention on the election fraud? Guilty as charged. If didn’t do it, the conversation would’ve been almost completely absent on the forum.
Even if election fraud had little or zero merit, we had every right to discuss it. The fact that this right was immediately curtailed emitted the most fetid stench imaginable. The rest of the mod team already showed their true colors by submitting to the admins’ ridiculous demands in my brief absence after the election. They assuredly would continue the same trend.
When election night surveillance footage of indisputable fraud from Georgia was released, I officially launched conspiracies.win. I submitted that footage as the new forum’s inaugural thread. I soon announced conspiracies.win to the broader r/conspiracy community, and the refugees began pouring in. The initial announcement attracted some degree of attention, including a nod from Google whistleblower Zach Vorhies who enthusiastically cheered on the reddit exodus.
The rest of the r/conspiracy mod team wasn’t on board. They seemed to think I was trying to “replace” r/conspiracy by moving it to a potential honeypot. In fairness, there has long been speculation that the .win domain is precisely such a honeypot.
All I knew is that I reached out to them and they were unilaterally giving me complete control over conspiracies.win. It really felt like a fresh start and a seriously viable alternate to reddit’s degeneracy. If there were ulterior motives in “allowing” me to establish a backup .win shortly before my ban then I’ve yet to see them manifest.
This is not the time and place to discuss the details of what actually is causing deaths attributed to “COVID-19.” But it’s striking when considering the parallels to previous epidemics like Spanish flu and polio. The swine flu fiasco in particular was a practice round, and the yearly “flu season” is part of the regular propaganda process to maintain the fraud. Respected scientist Peter Doshi exposed the flu deception years ago, asking, “Are U.S. Flu Death Figures More PR Than Science?”
Add inflated “influenza/pneumonia” deaths to scores of medical murders, and you have hundreds of thousands of “deaths” that can be labeled whatever you want, especially if you are staging a pandemic. The inventor of the PCR Test, Kary Mullis, warned everyone that his tool was not for diagnosing disease. Mullis knew the “Fauci’s” were all frauds, and he was conveniently silenced just months before they would use his own test to usher in the global scam. Just read what the Rockefeller’s planned in their 2010 “Lock Step” or ask the folks who ran Event 201, a simulated coronavirus pandemic exercise that was held in October, 2019.
After the so-called swine flu epidemic, it emerged that the vast majority of alleged “swine flu” patients tested negative for H1N1. Legendary reporter Sharyl Attkisson (with whom I coordinated an AMA for r/conspiracy) essentially lost her job at CBS for reporting on this very fact.
The swine flu “epidemic” was a hoax. And yet...I found myself arguing with both the shills and the genuine conspiracy theorists alike over the swine flu narrative. There are apparently lots of people who are absolutely positive they had swine flu, even without a “positive” diagnosis. They can’t be convinced otherwise, even when faced with all of the evidence to the contrary.
There was no H1N1 epidemic. These people got sick like they always do, and their symptoms were amplified by social and media hysteria. And this was in the era before smartphones truly took off! Imagine the effectiveness of similar pandemic propaganda campaign in the era of social media…
The stage was set for a plandemic, and the public was perfectly primed with pro-vaccine propaganda to usher in the next phase of global subjugation. But the 2020 election had to happen first. Remember, to the narrative managers I’m the fascist pro-vax Russian-agent Trump-sycophant “top mind” of the largest “mainstream” conspiracy forum left on the web.
I really didn’t know what to expect in November, 2020. The unprecedented insanity of Russiagate and COVID was leaning me towards the possibility that Trump was indeed a thorn, and not a plant, but I remained unconvinced. The rabid reaction against Trump’s insistence that a vaccine would be available by the end of 2020, and his insistence upon certain widely available treatments strongly suggested to me he was attempting to “counter” the COVID coup.
They wanted COVID to last as long as possible, and the only way to wrap up the hoax sooner would be to have a vaccine developed as quickly as possible. Whether the vaccine itself is a placebo or actually another bioweapon is irrelevant to the fact that its mere availability will vastly reduce the overall sense of fear among the population. This fear is the essential ingredient in propping up the pandemic theater.
As the election loomed, it was beyond obvious the reddit admins were covering for Biden to an absurd degree. Remember, I had been documenting every removal made by the admins on r/conspiracy since December, 2019. I noticed a shift in admin behavior when they started removing content for “misgendering” and other generally innocuous “offenses” for the first time. If someone on r/conspiracy wanted to call Caitlyn Jenner a “man,” it would not be a violation of our rules. And yet, we were beholden to the mandate of reddit, inc. Users that engaged in such “misgendering” on r/conspiracy began to be disciplined by the admins.
Around the same time, the admins also began removing threads and comments overly critical of Biden, even content that was very clearly satirical. When the entirety of reddit had been a festering Trump hatefest for four straight years, this hypocrisy made the plan glaringly obvious: it was to be Biden.
They also bent over backwards to cover for Hunter Biden.
Despite the growing list of topics we were forbidden from discussing, the vast majority of these unmentionables didn’t appear to violate the reddit user agreement. This contributed to a markedly schizophrenic atmosphere on r/conspiracy and reddit in general. I also finally had my first comment removed by “Anti-Evil Operations,” the Orwellian moniker bizarrely chosen by the admin team to document when they purge content from the site.
My comment that apparently warranted admin intervention used the metaphor “shoot the messenger” to describe the insane persecution a whistleblower was experiencing. The admins claimed it was a “call to violence” with zero regard to the context of the statement, an all-too-familiar tactic of the rogue technocracy. It occurred to me that if they started to censor me for nothing then my time on reddit was growing short.
Even with Big Tech covering for Biden, I had a hard time seeing how they would pull it off. This was clearly the kind of candidate you picked if you wanted to lose. It was well known in conspiracy circles that Biden himself was a pedophile and his entire family was compromised by foreign and Deep State actors. To actually “beat” Trump with a senile racist pedophile in the SJW era would require an election theft on such a magnitude that it would stagger the imagination.
You would have to stage a pandemic about a year before the election. You would have to initially downplay the pandemic and then ramp up the rhetoric to 11 to panic the population. You would then use the “emergency” to gaslight and discredit the current POTUS by claiming he was “mismanaging” something that was almost entirely fabricated.
You would censor anyone who suggested medical treatments that have traditionally always helped counteract the effects of Big Pharma’s products, the very poisons being masqueraded as “pandemics.” You would have to use the panic to circumvent multiple state constitutions to allow election laws to be modified without going through the legal process via state legislatures.
You would have to allow an unprecedented number of mail-in votes. You would have to allow counting to continue for days so the fraud can be “fortified” in the states that weren’t up to snuff on election night. They would, and they did.
The calls to have me removed from my position soon reached a fever pitch. To the deluded drones at TMOR, I was an existential threat to humanity. After all, they were sure I was a Russian and vaccine disinfo agent. With the amount of times I had seen TMOR users claim to have sent impassioned pleas to the reddit admins to have me banned, I was honestly surprised I wasn’t removed just to shut them up.
Ultimately, that seemed to be their goal, and it worked. Despite discussing some controversial topics, I followed the rules of reddit. In almost 10 years, I hadn’t had a single comment or thread removed by the admins. My record on reddit was pristine. They couldn’t get me on rule violations, and they couldn’t harass and threaten me until I quit. Instead, they opted to turn public sentiment against me.
By this time, many of the veteran r/conspiracy mods started to grow distant from reddit. It left the remaining few of us to do the majority of the work. There were times when I felt like I was essentially running the forum almost on my own, with maybe one or two other mods. I continued arranging AMAs, which can be found here.
In my final year as mod, I also publicly documented the content the admins themselves were removing on r/conspiracy, metrics that only are accessible by the moderators of any given subreddit. For a year I extensively recorded these increasingly spurious removals in monthly “transparency threads.” I doubt the admins were pleased as I publicly documented their slamming shut of the Overton window.
These transparency reports received far less attention than they should have, as they were extremely informative. They showed that r/conspiracy was being deliberately sabotaged.
I spent much of my mod efforts on the comment sections, the true front line of r/conspiracy. I aggressively moderated the forum sliding trolls. As we became more and more inundated with this rule-breaking activity, I was forced to respond accordingly by often banning repeat offenders on sight if their history contained multiple previous rule infractions on our sub.
Sometimes entire threads would be swarmed with these artificial accounts, flooding the conversation with these violations. I did recognize the irony in “censoring” these comments to preserve the “freedom” of speech on our forum. The alternative was to allow this blatant manipulation to suffocate the conversation completely.
Because of our commitment to transparency, we publicly released the logs of our moderation actions, something unheard of for any other large sub on reddit. As a result, the narrative managers highlighted my actions in banning the numerous shills in an effort to portray me as a conspiracy “tyrant.”
While I fended off a veritable army of digital trolls, I remained committed to calling out the increasingly unhinged pro-vaccine support on reddit. The brigades during this time against anyone calling out vaccine propaganda were unprecedented in their severity.
By the end of 2019, I was ready for the big one. When videos started making their rounds allegedly showing Chinese people falling down in the street due to some “unknown” illness, their significance became immediately apparent. This was classic propaganda. This was the same pandemic theater we’d been calling out for years.
Keep in mind, after a decade of observing patterns on r/conspiracy, my ability in that respect was ferociously fine-tuned. It was immediately apparent that the users and threads promoting FUD regarding this “new” virus were extremely inorganic. Even more disturbing, I noticed the same pattern across the vast majority of alternative media outlets in the early stages of “coronavirus.” While the MSM and world authorities were downplaying the event, alternate media sites were abuzz with conspiracies, and the Wuhan lab origin was at the top of the list.
I saw the false dichotomy narrative being put in play. A story was being crafted for the mainstream, namely the virus had emerged naturally from a wet market in Wuhan. And a story was being crafted for the conspiracy theorists (a red herring) that the virus had instead been manipulated and emerged from a lab in Wuhan. They use the same playbook every time. Stay tuned, they may used it again if they try to stage an “alien” hoax to cover for when our own exotic technology is eventually disclosed.
In January I issued the most sincere warning of my entire history on r/conspiracy. I specifically noted that coronavirus fear porn was not organic and was targeted at both the narrative consumer and the conspiracy theorists. My warning was specifically directed at the conspiracy theorists not to be swept up with fear by the coming event. Here’s the thread, which I consider to be a crowning achievement of my digital legacy.
I felt compelled to shout this out back in January, 2020: “The staging of viral pandemics has the frightening ability to fool the brainwashed and the conspiracy researchers, if we aren't careful.” How did I know? I’d been documenting it on reddit for years and years. Here’s a list of many of these observations and warnings going back almost a decade.
r/conspiracy was still a force to be reckoned with at the time, and my coronavirus warning thread received a great deal of support. It resonated. Although some threads were pushing fear porn, these were almost entirely artificially boosted, as the genuine r/conspiracy community smelled a rat. Over the next few months I went in hard pushing back against coronavirus fear porn. I even revived some of my numerological speculation concerning COVID, a subject I had largely neglected over recent years.
If the global media and multiple world governments tell all of humanity that a virus may kill you if you step outside, what percentage of the population would automatically get so worked up in abject terror that they would literally cause themselves to be hospitalized with manifested symptoms, especially when they’re already being poisoned by Big Pharma? Spoiler: a lot.
Note: pathogens are absolutely being manipulated and released on accident and through biowarfare. Mother Nature does not tolerate these “frankenviruses” and quickly mutates them beyond recognition. Anything “artificial” released from Wuhan or elsewhere in 2019 is no longer a threat today. This is another reason why the “lab leak” theory initially was so fervently denied to the point of rabid deplatforming and censorship.
A “lab leak” origin may sound just as spooky as a naturally-evolved pathogen, but in reality it just means the “COVID’s here forever!” narrative falls flat on its face. Sadly, that won’t stop various rogue governments and news agencies from getting a little more fear porn mileage from the COVID gravy train.
In all seriousness, it’s hard to imagine still using reddit today with a clean conscience. But I did what I could, when I could. The only other “large” subreddit I moderated was r/UFOs, though my activity there was decidedly less, as it was a smaller forum that required less moderation.
Last year, it was brought to my attention that certain terms and topics were routinely being censored on r/UFOs. This censorship was apparently originating from the mod team itself, of which I was a part. When the full picture became clear, I removed the offending mods and restored the sub to its pre-censorship days. My efforts in undoing this damage even resulted in positive reports from the mainstream, such as this VICE article.
The disconnect of being publicly commended by VICE (of all outlets) while being cast as public enemy #1 on reddit didn’t escape me. I had proven again and again that I was a champion for free speech. All of the users that we banned had a chance to appeal, and if they pledged to follow the rules, we would be more than happy to offer to unban them.
A tyrant, I wasn’t. And yet, at several points in time I could make the claim to be the most harassed, threatened and brigaded account on reddit, a dubious honor for which I felt no pride. While I was proud of my original research, I had been thrust into a role I didn’t really want anymore. But I didn’t see anyone else I trusted who was willing and able to replace me.
Instead of spending time researching ancient civilizations, exotic technology and the machinations of Big Pharma, I was combating trolls and shills on a conspiracy forum. They demanded too much time and effort. The new rules were effective, but they were tougher to implement, and they soon became an extra burden on the frequently over-tasked moderator team. One mod in particular had been doing the lion’s share of the busy work, while I relegated myself to addressing the routine shill brigades and spam accounts that would artificially push their stolen content to the front page.
Not surprisingly, with every bad actor we banned new accounts would soon take their place like a shill hydra. In their hypocritical stupor, they raged that the r/conspiracy mod team was giving preferential treatment to conspiracy theorists. Shocking, I know. This narrative is particularly weak. The entirety of reddit had been purged of wrongthink, and they still had the audacity to complain that the r/conspiracy mod team offered more leniency towards conspiracy theorists! In addition to having no shame, they have no tact.
For example, the mod team would likely remove a comment (not found in the pinned “meta” chain) that says something like “this is why r/conspiracy sucks.” This statement violates the “no-meta” rule by addressing the sub as a whole (a painfully common forum sliding tactic). Other examples include the infamous “r/conspiracy is T_D (the_donald) 2.0” as well as “r/conspiracy should bring back bigfoots and aliens.” Various permutations of the “bigfoot” comment in particular are perhaps the most glowing example of this activity.
On the other hand, if a comment evokes the meta in a positive light, the sentiment might be treated differently. For example, “stuff like this is what keeps me coming back to r/conspiracy” is a positive and constructive statement. Such an observation would typically not be removed. One would hope it’s self-evident why removing positive affirmations to the community is bad form and counter to the fostering of a healthy community.
Every time they perceived an “injustice” was perpetrated by the r/conspiracy mod team, you would think we had committed all manners of atrocities. They made sure these perceived injustices routinely echoed across reddit. Why wasn’t r/conspiracy banned like T_D and so many others? Was there someone still on the admin team actually advocating for us? Or is the reason more sinister?
It’s frequently speculated that it’s useful for the narrative managers to keep us all in one place. If they scatter us, we can digitally regroup and hit back from multiple angles. The rest of reddit is now fully controlled, and this leverage is used against the r/conspiracy community. Without their army of bots and useful idiots that comprise the vast majority of reddit, r/conspiracy would finally be able to reach its full potential. This is the same potential that the early version of reddit (and the internet in general!) was meant to reach before being co-opted.
Meanwhile, my “ascension” as head mod made me public enemy #1 for the shill squad. For years, on any give day I would be personally featured on a solid majority of threads on the front page of TMOR. To say their obsession over me was pathological would be a gross understatement. It was certainly deliberate.
Thousands of times I watched my content get organic support on r/conspiracy, only to have this momentum completely reversed the moment the comment or thread would be linked by TMOR. They enjoyed boasting that they could flaunt the rules of reddit that forbids precisely such activity. Here’s extensive proof:
Reddit admins have even been spotted posting on TMOR using their official admin accounts. They’re on record saying they would be “watching” the r/conspiracy mod team, encouraging TMOR to follow suit. Shortly before my ban I noted, “r/conspiracy, you are a targeted community under assault. The reddit admins are complicit in the worst kinds of abuse and harassment, and they explicitly condone this behavior.”
Such blatant coordination is to be expected from an admin team that employs bona fide warmongering government agents like Jessica Ashooh. They actually suspended multiple users for even mentioning Ashooh’s name on r/conspiracy. They also had the audacity to try and ban us from even discussing her.
And here’s when they tried to stop us from saying the name of a pedophile from a wealthy family. They later capitulated.
Oh, and the admins would really like you to forget all about “Antique Jetpack” and reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian’s connection with NSA/CIA propaganda firm Stratfor.
And the first user to get 1,000,000 “karma” points on reddit, the infamous power mod u/maxwellhill…? Yeah that’s totally not Ghislaine Maxwell herself, even though the account went dark immediately after her arrest and hasn’t posted since, despite years of the account obsessing over reddit with a history of discussing age of consent laws.
And reddit hiring Aimee Challenor and banning anyone, including moderators, who talked about it? Yeah they definitely were in the dark about Aimee continuing to work with her father who was actually torturing and raping children. The admins were super, super sorry about that one and said the new recruit hadn’t been “properly vetted.”
Because awareness of the great vaccine deception was spreading on r/conspiracy, this issue became the preferred focus of reddit’s narrative managers. As a moderator of r/conspiracy and a vocal vaccine skeptic, it was like I had attached an irresistibly powerful shill magnet to my reddit account. To make matters worse, I was eventually elected as the “head” moderator of r/conspiracy, a story which deserves its own brief diversion.
It’s common for certain “power mods” to be involved with multiple mainstream subreddits. These users are frequently afforded special protection from the admin team, and it’s not uncommon for the admins to censor entire comments and threads that even mention the user name of one of these power mods. One such mod was the creator of r/conspiracy, an account that had remained in the “top” position on the team since its inception. The only real significance of the mod hierarchy on reddit is that a senior mod has the ability to remove anyone else with a lower rank. As a result, the top mod on the list is accountable only to the reddit admins.
As the rest of reddit was purged or homogenized, r/conspiracy was seeming like the last place that stayed true to the vision of pioneers like Aaron Swartz. Control of r/conspiracy was becoming a tangible desire for the narrative managers. Unfortunately for them, the mod team was populated by actual conspiracy theorists. We were r/conspiracy users too. We had done the research, and the time, to show where our allegiance lay.
The r/conspiracy mod team realized that having a potentially rogue power mod at the top of the list, sitting there like a weird digital Sword of Damocles, was not in the best interest of the sub. We unanimously decided to petition the admins to have this mod removed, a practice not uncommon when head mods are inactive for long periods of time. In addition, the r/conspiracy mod team unanimously voted for me to take over as head mod. I would become the “top mind” of the “top minds” of reddit!
But the admins dragged their feet. At first, they ignored our requests. To be frank, I begin suspecting that our “absent” head mod would suddenly “reemerge” and reclaim his position. But that never happened. Instead, I was eventually contacted by the admins and given instructions on how to remove the missing mod using the “subreddit request” feature. After complying, I was shocked to see the entire r/conspiracy mod team had just been removed, including me! I was then re-added as the sole moderator of r/conspiracy. In addition, the counters documenting our time spent as moderators were permanently reset.
Not surprisingly, the optics of the sudden removal of the entire moderator team weren’t great. I invited back the other mods that were recently online and immediately pinned a thread at the top of the forum explaining I hadn’t a clue what was happening and that I was trying to rectify the situation. It was too late. The narrative managers had pounced in blatantly pre-packaged form, claiming that I had attempted a “coup” to install myself as “dictator.” Even though the admins chimed in and apologized for the “glitch,” the damage was done. Planned or not, their lackluster response was extremely telling.
With myself at the helm, r/conspiracy entered a new phase of the information war. The attacks against our community were constant and coordinated. They employed every forum sliding tactic imaginable. They flooded us with nonsensical conspiracies. They harassed and brigaded our genuine contributors. Eventually, the mod team took action.
Our first solution was meant to combat the constant deluge of spam and fake conspiracy theories meant to drown out legitimate content. To do so, we decided to implement a so-called “submission statement” rule requiring anyone sharing a link on r/conspiracy to summarize the content of their post for our community. This summary had to be cogent and use at least a couple of sentences.
If this simple summary wasn’t produced in a comment by OP within several minutes, the thread was automatically removed. This did wonders to cut down on spam. I’ll admit my own contributions to the sub were somewhat curtailed as I found myself spending more time summarizing and discussing the article instead of posting multiple links at a time. This change increased the quality of discussion, and despite being somewhat inconvenient, it significantly cut down on spam and other diversions from bad actors.
It can’t be stressed enough that we were very careful not to include in this rule a requirement for the thread to be a universally-acknowledged “conspiracy” despite this seeming contradiction. One of the most common, and painfully obvious, tactics of the shills is to flood every thread with the comment “where’s the conspiracy?” After all, shouldn’t a forum called “conspiracy” require every thread be a “conspiracy?” This is yet another semantic trap.
Amusingly, the same narrative managers that routinely harass the r/conspiracy mod team for being “tyrants” would in the same breath demand that the mods should be the arbiters of what constitutes a “conspiracy.” Mandating a “conspiracy” requirement for our forum would essentially give the moderators the final word on what is, or is not, a “conspiracy.” r/conspiracy has always been dedicated to freedom of expression and does not grant a handful of moderators unilateral power based on mere semantics.
When you’ve been censored by the entirety of reddit, r/conspiracy is the last place you can still speak your mind. Sometimes people just want to have their voice heard. Requiring them to phrase their feelings as a “conspiracy” would be counter to the very ethos of our forum. That’s why the “where’s the conspiracy?” forum slide was so pernicious and transparent. It was meant to force OP to justify being on r/conspiracy instead of spending time and effort unraveling the subject at hand.
This observation led to the next major rule change on our sub: the relegating of this type of rhetoric to only one specific comment chain per thread. It would’ve been excessive to outright ban “where’s the conspiracy?” meta commentary, but the deluge of comments spouting some iteration of “r/conspiracy sucks” that flooded our forum had to be addressed and managed. Every thread was suffocating with this banality.
As a solution, we automated a pinned comment to be placed at the top of every thread on r/conspiracy. This comment is highly visible (it’s at the top!) and is specifically meant for meta observations that reference OP and the broader conspiracy community. Any other meta references in the rest of the thread and not replying to the pinned meta comment were in violation of our sub’s rules.
Repeated offenders of this rule, like with any other rule, could expect to be banned. Suffice to say, this ruffled all the feathers. The ability to viciously slander our community throughout the comment section was an essential tool of the narrative managers, and this single change dealt them a considerable blow.
Concomitant with the widespread condoning of violent rhetoric towards Trump and his supports, I noticed a profound uptick in similarly violent rhetoric towards any semblance of a skeptical conversation on vaccines. Having spent over a decade analyzing many tens of thousands of threads of r/conspiracy, I can say with full confidence that no subject elicits more backlash and more of a coordinated shill response than calling into question the vaccine narrative.
In fact, when I started delving into conspiracy theories in the mid-2000’s, the vaccine issue wasn’t even on my radar. I watched Alex Jones rant about vaccines and responded like most people when exposed to Jones: with baffled amusement. It wasn’t until I started receiving unprecedented backlash from the same coterie of shills that aggressively defended Monsanto and the like that I started to have my interest in vaccines piqued.
After all, I was well-versed at analyzing the reaction to certain themes as a gauge for their validity. Don’t get me wrong, this does not mean every topic that attracts “debunkers” must therefore be true, a contrarian viewpoint that’s logically unsound. But if you carefully review the style and method of the debunkers, it can often give you profound clues as to their motives and the overall veracity of the conspiracy theory in question.
The vaccine issue was the big one, and clearly not much has changed. I just happened to notice it earlier than most because the shills gave it away. In addition to continuing with my regular moderator duties, I spent more time and effort investigating the vaccine issue than any other subject. I produced two considerable mega-threads called the Skeptic’s Guide to Vaccines Parts 1 & 2.
I routinely updated r/conspiracy with my observations on the scope of pro-vaccine propaganda that was a daily occurrence for many years on reddit. I explained that this activity wasn’t only inorganic, but it was also increasing at a rate that left essentially all other propaganda efforts in the dust. Here’s one of my many pre-COVID warnings:
“The Pro-Vaccine Propaganda on Reddit Has Reached Unprecedented Levels: Blind, unquestioning subservience to the criminal Medical Cartel is a major aspect of their control grid, and complete trust in vaccines represents one of the pillars of this tyranny.”
The pandemic narrative is integral to this propaganda effort, as it also amplifies the concerns of the conspiracy theorists themselves. We know they play god with pathogens. We’re aware that monkey “parts” had contaminated the polio vaccines for decades and there was a causal link between this disaster and the current soft tissue cancer epidemic. We know that this same pathogen, SV-40, is a co-carcinogen with asbestos which contaminated J&J baby powder for decades.
We know about the polio vaccine trials in Africa in the 1950’s where the “HIV” epidemic emerged soon after. We know that Bayer and other companies had dumped contaminated blood products resulting in the poisoning of tens of thousands worldwide and the jump-starting of the “AIDS” narrative.
We saw through the pathetic post-9/11 anthrax theater. We’re well-versed on the diseased happenings at Fort Detrick and Plum Island, and their plans for future “dark winters.” After all, the archaic ruling class requires an ever-evolving invisible “enemy” to maintain their ill-gotten hegemony. The phantom “terrorist” was the preferred boogeyman when the neocons were being used while the amorphous “virus” has become the go-to for the neolibs. Either way, they are merely different implementations of the same anti-human tyranny.
The unmatched propaganda effort towards vaccine compliance couldn’t simply be explained away by the machinations of a for-profit pharmaceutical industry, although that undoubtedly was a driving factor. The pro-vaccine propaganda on reddit was unparalleled, and this was on a website that had become a literal tool of propaganda amplification.
You don’t put that much effort into something on that scale to make sure a few Big Pharma conglomerates sell all their measles shots. You do it to condition the public for future events concerning vaccines and pandemics.
This plan started to come into disturbing focus when “ebola” and “zika” were briefly touted in the hysterical MSM news cycle. I had been following Jon Rappoport at the time, an investigative reporter who began his career unraveling the HIV/AIDS deception. Rappoport routinely called out “pandemics” as being attributable to other factors like environmental toxins, pollution, poisonous pharmaceuticals, and medical malpractice.
Other than r/conspiracy, the one large sub that maintained its independence from the corporate homogenization of reddit was r/the_donald (T_D). T_D was so effective at maintaining its own echo chamber (which it undoubtedly was), that it exposed the hypocrisy of the rest of reddit by routinely reaching the front page of r/all. T_D demonstrated that there were other opinions about Trump that weren’t “orange man bad,” which at the time was the only one sanctioned by reddit.
To deal with these regular deviations from the narrative, the admins at first throttled, and then ultimately banned, T_D and its community of millions of users. It was becoming too powerful of a force. Many of them abandoned reddit completely. The rest of the “deplorables” were consolidated onto a handful of subs such as r/conservative and r/conspiracy. After all, It’s easier to censor and coordinate the harassment of just a couple forums.
Obviously, many of the “refugees” from the T_D ban found their way onto r/conspiracy, which further contributed to the collective tantrum of TMOR and the other narrative managers that r/conspiracy was subservient to Trump. In reality, we were welcoming them in not because of their political beliefs, but simply because they were silenced. Conspiracy theorists traditionally back those who are being censored. We would’ve extended the same welcome had the politics been completely reversed.
The r/conspiracy mod team was well known to consist of a wide range of political beliefs, and we historically have called out both political parties in the US and abroad. The only thing r/conspiracy was “guilty” of was not getting swept up by officially mandated conspiracy theories like Russiagate. Apparently, the same Mockingbird Media that spent decades denying every “inconvenient” conspiracy imaginable suddenly became experts on what constitutes a conspiracy theory worthy of discussion.
I watched in disturbed fascination as violent rhetoric against Trump and Trump supporters littered the front page of r/all. Whenever I had to clean up blatant rule-breaking content on r/conspiracy from brigades originating from elsewhere on reddit, it almost always was from violent and aggressive anti-Trump posters from subs like r/politics. Whenever we removed these personal attacks (clear violations of our rules), the r/conspiracy mods found ourselves being routinely excoriated as “defending” Trump, when we were just doing our job.
When the Nicholas Sandmann debacle hit, I realized that society had reached an horrific turning point. The brainwashed masses showed their true colors when they collectively called for the head of a minor for no tangible reason other than they were told to do so. I watched multiple calls for Sandmann’s beating and death go unmoderated across reddit. Even worse, I was attacked for removing this reprehensible content on my own forum. The degeneracy I witnessed in the 24 hours or so following that disgusting episode was beyond the pale.
I had spent years investigating credible proof of topics like elite pedophilia. I thought I’d seen it all. But the potentially disastrous repercussions I envisioned from the ease in which the state-sponsored two minutes of hate against Sandmann was implemented was an entirely new beast.
The reddit admins were allowing violent threats against a minor to proliferate, and it was up to the moderators of the conspiracy forum on their website to attempt to undo some of the damage. I had no allegiance to Trump and yet I was deeply sickened by this unhinged spectacle. The conspiratorial delusions were continuing in the mainstream media, and the public kept lapping it up at a prodigious rate.
By 2016 there was a dramatic shift and uptick in shill activity. This was directly correlated with the infamous “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory surrounding the Podesta emails that leaked in March of that year. This shift was mostly with respect to any discussion of elite pedophilia and global child trafficking rings. Before pizzagate, these threads were generally left unperturbed by the narrative managers. It was still too unbelievable in the public’s eye for our discussions to be considered worthy of derailment. In truth, they were considered “fringe” even by most conspiracy theorists.
But with pizzagate breaking into the mainstream, the shill army descended. One arm attacked any user who dared post about pizzagate, and the other inorganically pushed every insane interpretation of pizzagate imaginable to discredit the very valid discussion of global pedophilia and human trafficking rings.
By the end of 2016, the activity I was observing led me to prepare for a Trump upset, but even I was surprised to see it actually materialize. I had initially considered Trump to be a “fall guy” to ensure a Hillary Clinton victory, but the immediate and categorical descent into madness I witnessed as a result of his election was stunning to behold.
The world was flipped on its head when Trump became POTUS. The conspiracy theorists became the true skeptics, while the narrative consumers and the MSM became wide-eyed conspiracy theorists. As of 2021, these roles have yet to revert back. Every single conspiracy theorist began to be lambasted as “Russian agents.” This schizophrenic episode descended practically overnight in a stunningly coordinated fashion.
The traditional conspiracy theorists were being expected to believe the Steele Dossier and similar delusions verbatim. After all, we were conspiracy theorists, right? Aren’t we supposed to believe in all conspiracy theories? Hundreds of thousands of users on our forum were immediately cast as Trump supporters and/or Putin puppets for merely expressing skepticism that the historically corrupt MSM just might be unanimously propagating the same propaganda as before.
And yet, Trump bombed Syria over a literal false flag and the same cancerous MSM lauded him as “presidential” in a surreal moment of rare transparency. I repeatedly criticized Trump for playing the buffoon. While the media erupted in masturbatory ecstasy at the revenue and relevancy generated by his crass irregularities, the criminal US military and corporate juggernaut appeared to churn on, largely unabated.
Despite my regular vocal condemnation of Trump for playing the fool while he continued to drone strike innocent human beings, I started to notice that the narrative managers were at it again: “the r/conspiracy forum has been commandeered by Trump/Putin spies!” The same accounts that had engaged in sustained abuse of our community for years began claiming that we posed a legitimate existential threat. Go figure.
Since the neocons had largely been abandoned for the neolibs as the preferred mechanism of control, they needed to appeal to this woke new breed of malleable minds. The “conspiratard” forum at this point had rebranded itself as “topmindsofreddit” (TMOR), a reference to the “top men” tasked to investigate the Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones lore.
Despite having a comparably low number of subscribers, r/topmindsofreddit was routinely featured on the front page of r/all (the most publicly visible and coveted spot on reddit). The vast majority of content featured on TMOR was specifically from the r/conspiracy sub, but they also targeted any forum that didn’t espouse an anti-Trump or far-left political paradigm.
Because reddit was quickly devolving into a self-congratulatory echo chamber, communities like TMOR really took off. They target any user, comment or thread they deem unsavory. They also directly link this “offending” content to their sub, and the same circle jerk cycle churns on with malevolent regularity. Although reddit has traditionally discouraged and disallowed communities from actively linking and participating in threads on other subs, when directed at r/conspiracy and other “inconvenient” spaces this behavior is encouraged and rewarded by the hivemind.
Although I started receiving threats before even becoming a r/conspiracy mod back when I was butting heads with the Monsanto bullies, the volume and severity of this rhetoric that I received in the aftermath of “Russiagate” was simply off the charts. At the height of the Russiagate furor it wasn’t uncommon for me to be sent up to a dozen threats per day, if not more. These came in the form of private messages, custom reports on my threads, and calls for doxxing and violence directed at me on other subreddits like TMOR.
I reported much of this filth to the admins, especially the death threats, but action was rarely taken against the offending accounts. It wasn’t uncommon for the users I reported to receive a brief 3-day suspension, only for them to get right back at it when they returned. It was more common for no action to be taken at all. Threads from many of these narrative management subs that linked to my content would even occasionally reach the front page of reddit. Each time this happened, it would result in more of this behavior. The admins repeatedly allowed this cycle to perpetuate.
The admins couldn’t ban us. The only thing we were doing “wrong” was doubting insane MSM conspiracy theories like Russiagate. So they opted to harass us until we quit. Needless to say, I continued sharing conspiracies and moderating the forum with even more zeal. After all, I had taught myself how to spot disinfo campaigns by observing the patterns on r/conspiracy.
Russiagate was as blatant a psyop as I had yet seen. As with most effective psyops, “Russiagate” undoubtedly contained kernels of truth. The Russian government is not a benevolent actor by any stretch of the imagination. But the vast majority of this phobia was pure nonsense, and the trained conspiracy theorist recognized this immediately. I started spending so much time trying to explain that questioning Russiagate didn’t make you a Trump supporter that I began to think making us waste our breath on this fallacy was part of the plan.
The effect made by pizzagate was somewhat analogous. Although conspiracy theorists had been attempting to shed light on elite pedophilia for years, all of the sudden we became those silly “pizzagaters” for discussing valid topics like the Dutroux Affair, Jimmy Savile and Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein and his “Lolita Express” in particular were hot topics on r/conspiracy for years before the story blew up internationally.
With Russiagate, the conspiracy was aimed at the mainstream instead, while the conspiracy theorists were gaslit to the max with the same tired divisive political false dichotomy. It was baffling how firmly the propaganda had rooted itself. I lost track of the times I was told I was a Trump supporter only to have the conversation abandoned when I requested proof. The “proof” often given was that r/conspiracy was creating a “safe space” for Trump. In actuality, reddit had begun its systematic purge of anything remotely right of center.
After the success of our first official AMA, I realized the potential for r/conspiracy to give a voice to the marginalized. While the rest of reddit was degenerating into rehashed memes and propaganda, we fiercely maintained our independence and dedication to preserving our space as an open forum. Because our community remained committed to this cause, we were targeted by the rest of reddit, which refused to grant us our independence and insisted we join their obnoxiously redundant conformity.
It began to dawn on me that r/conspiracy’s greatest defense is semantic. It’s well known that there exists a decades-long effort to linguistically discredit uncomfortable truths and deviations from sanctioned narratives as being “conspiracy theories.” This effort is often traced back to the JFK assassination, and this indoctrination has been so effective that it literally warped the definition of the word “conspiracy” itself in the public consciousness. Now merely the word “conspiracy” evokes fanciful nonsense despite the glaring absence of the “theory” modifier to complete the phrase.
This is a type of “spell” (spelling) that’s been cast with language for ages. But over time even the most pernicious semantic spell starts to weaken. So too is the term “conspiracy” quickly reaching that point of semantic satiation. We live in a time when the “conspiracies” are practically writing themselves, and the continued monotonous attempts to dismiss all conspiracies as nonsense is becoming as comical as it is cacophonous.
That being said, throughout the 2010’s, r/conspiracy was consistently the only place on reddit were any theory could be discussed without too much concern of censorship or ridicule. Although we were increasingly ostracized by the rest of reddit, the admins tended to keep a decidedly hands-off approach when it came to managing content on our forum, and initially they rarely would intervene. It was as if the very stigma surrounding the word “conspiracy” gave us more freedom. They would simply dismiss everything we talked about as mere “conspiracy,” an attempt at slander that instead became almost beneficial.
However, coordinated attacks and harassment campaigns from outside r/conspiracy began to steadily increase. Veteran and “controversial” contributors on our forum were given the most negative attention. The harassment was so severe that it would ultimately cause many of our quality members to leave the site completely. The admins did nothing to prevent this documented, coordinated abuse, and they almost assuredly were contributing to it themselves.
Conversely, a new “abrasive” conspiracy theorist was born, and this one was usually aggressively fixated on a small handful of topics, which more often than not were red herrings. They would only appear to proselytize whenever their pet conspiracy was being discussed. For example, I noticed this behavior from a pattern of suspicious accounts concerning the “thermite” theory of 9/11, namely that industrial grade thermite was used to bring down the towers.
As with any disinfo operation, many well-meaning conspiracy theorists will undoubtedly get swept up in the fray, so not every account arguing for the thermite hypothesis was inorganic, but most were. When I discovered that the main proponent of thermite, Steven Jones, was instrumental in the cold fusion cover-up a decade earlier, my suspicions were confirmed.
Instead of exclusively debunking, the shills were increasingly pushing certain explanations for valid conspiracies that were either partially or completely untrue. In addition, if you didn’t agree with their interpretation of the narrative, you weren’t a “real” conspiracy theorist. We saw this phenomenon explode on a global scale with Russiagate. Before Russiagate, I was documenting the shill behavior and used my observations of their chatter and activity to predict events like Sandy Hook and the Boston Bombing. When I became a r/conspiracy mod, I then had access to many more metrics than regular users, and I used that to my advantage when scanning for patterns to predict future events.
Shortly after the success of our first AMA with Linda Brown, and right around when I was noticing that the thermite theory for 9/11 was largely inorganic, r/conspiracy hosted a notorious second AMA with Richard Gage, an engineer who embraces the thermite theory. When the perhaps unexpectedly educated and erudite members of r/conspiracy began holding Gage’s feet to the fire about the improbability of his theory, he abruptly abandoned the Q&A session. Gage would later claim the account was an “impostor” all along, despite considerable evidence to the contrary.
It stands to reason that if the thermite theory was an “officially” sanctioned misdirection, then r/conspiracy would be used to amplify the disinfo to confuse genuine conspiracy theorists and researchers. The Gage debacle also attempted to derail our nascent AMA program, but we continued undeterred and proceeded to be more discerning with our guests.
By 2013 I had established a well-earned reputation as one of the most prolific contributors of original content on r/conspiracy. I was optimistic, ambitious, and felt like the community I’d found was a true light in the otherwise dimming mainstream reddit rigamarole. As r/conspiracy steadily grew, so did the need for more mods.
I should briefly mention that the r/conspiracy mod team has understandably attracted a wide variety of colorful characters over the years. Many have come and gone as curious oddities, while others have been significant movers and shakers over the course of the forum’s history. Their story is for another time, and shouldn’t come from me. I can only share my own experience.
When it came time for nominations, I was delighted to receive enthusiastic and broad support as a strong favorite, and I was soon added to the team. Despite the reputation I would eventually develop, I feel like I was always viewed as a positive and constructive force on the sub, and I continued spending hours devoted to original content for r/conspiracy even after attaining moderator status.
I pledged not to let my new position interfere with my love of posting “high octane” speculation on the forum. Unfortunately, this was overly optimistic. The moment I became a mod, everything I said was used by the narrative managers as an “official” statement of r/conspiracy, despite the forum demonstrably consisting of a fantastically diverse range of opinions and ideas.
In one dramatic example, I created a “mega-thread” for r/conspiracy to discuss the bizarre MH370 disappearance in 2014. In addition to citing MSM sources (who, if you recall, had their own bizarre conspiracy theories about the incident), I also included, as an afterthought, some of the numerological patterns concerning the event, particularly the number 37.
I attributed no significance to these observations. Rather, I was including them in the megathread because it was yet another conspiratorial angle to the MH370 disappearance, and therefore was qualified to be included in the discussion. To my legitimate surprise, my words were first quoted by Time.com and CNN, and then broadcast on an episode of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. I was mocked as a crazy “reddit conspiracy theorist” who apparently believed the numbers were “cosmically” chosen. Oh, really now? I don’t recall them ever asking.
I couldn’t help but feel bemused that Stephen Colbert had joked about me on national television for engaging in harmless speculation on a silly internet forum. Little did I know the event would foreshadow being called out in Congress in a much graver setting.
At this point, r/conspiracy was becoming large enough to warrant inviting guests for the well-known “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) Q&A sessions that are popular on mainstream reddit. I thought it would be fantastic to host AMAs specifically geared towards those with a conspiratorial bent. The opportunity would soon present itself after I shared some research I was conducting on the American inventor Thomas Townsend Brown, who had discovered and documented an unusual anti-gravitic force using electricity and magnets starting in the 1920’s.
The mystery of Brown’s work for the US Government and his travels around the world culminated in the 1950’s when the then publicly-touted anti-gravity experiments being run by multiple corporations and government agencies went irrevocably black, and to this day have yet to emerge.
A biographer of T. T. Brown, known for his previous work on the equally enigmatic inventor of television, Philo Farnsworth, had abandoned his manuscript and years of work in a dramatic and sudden way. Linda Brown, the only surviving daughter of T. T., believes her father’s biographer was “coerced” into giving up the project after so much time and energy had been invested.
Incredibly, Linda found the research I shared with r/conspiracy about her father. She reached out and we soon developed a budding friendship. It occurred to me that Linda would be the perfect candidate for an AMA, and she agreed. She also asked if I was interested in completing her father’s biography. Flattered, I respectfully declined, as my hands were full with reddit and life. Perhaps I’ll revisit T. T. Brown someday! Here’s Linda’s AMA.
With the blatantly suspicious “suicide” of reddit co-founder Aaron Swartz in early 2013, and long-standing rumors of connections between reddit’s owners and unsavory government agencies, the site was targeted for transformation into a massive narrative-management machine to be integrated into Big Tech’s burgeoning monopoly.
r/conspiratard was one of many subs that existed primarily to orchestrate the manipulation of the votes and comments of threads on r/conspiracy and elsewhere on reddit. This practice is known as “brigading” and almost always is in direct violation of reddit’s user agreement. These brigades would often initiate ruthless targeted harassment towards many accounts that shared information that was deemed “inconvenient.” r/conspiratard was also ground zero for the most prolific Monsanto shills on reddit, as well as the most fervently pro-Israel.
A frequent meme employed on r/conspiratard was a mocking reference to “pancakes” which symbolized the death of Rachel Corrie, an Israeli activist for Palestinian rights who was brutally murdered. The “pancakes” meme often littered the front page of r/conspiratard, a fairly blunt indication of the degree of perversion festering within their ranks.
Whenever a topic on r/conspiracy arose that these shills were tasked with “debunking,” they would quickly swarm the relevant threads, often engaging in substantial and extremely aggressive abuse against specific users. While explicitly in violation of the user agreement, this type of coordinated harassment has historically been condoned and even encouraged by the reddit admins. There are countless cases of the admins outright ignoring extreme threats and other offenses if they originate from these “approved” digital henchmen.
Although they were aggressive, they were sloppy. If you were paying attention, you could find out which narratives were being systematically curated. For example, initially the complaints about Israel were simply not on my radar. It seemed to me that the tired “teh jews did it!” trope was almost always a a myopic misdirection.
But then I shared a thread about the USS Liberty incident, an event that was completely unknown to me at the time. The degree of vitriol and harassment hurled my way for simply posting about the 1967 tragedy that saw three dozen Americans murdered by Israel was beyond excessive and extremely thought-provoking. Not only that, the same accounts that would crucify you for questioning Monsanto seemed to be tasked with making sure no one discussed the USS Liberty and similar staged events. And those same accounts would flood your thread with “jet fuel can’t melt steel beams” if you tried to have an honest discussion about 9/11.
Eventually, they gave up on Monsanto when it was blisteringly obvious the “science” they were tasked to defend was actually genocidal. They also largely moved on from protecting Israel when it was no longer as politically expedient. And 9/11 was being memory-holed faster every day, so less effort was spent there. After all, an entire generation had emerged in its wake, and most have no idea just how bad that particular deception truly was.
Where did the shill energy go on reddit? It went almost entirely to prop up the next phase of social engineering. This was primarily centered around unquestioning devotion to Big Pharma and the vaccine industry.
By 2012 it was clear that the neocons were old news, and that neoliberalism was the new weapon du jour for the oligarchical sociopaths. I watched, stunned, as the so-called “leftists” that once denounced the illegal and immoral Iraq and Afghanistan wars did a clown-world-worthy about-face and ignored or even cheered on further US coups and coup attempts in Libya, Syria and elsewhere abroad.
While the Ron Paul movement was still present in 2012, I realized Obama would be chosen again. The sheer amount of pro-Obama propaganda littering the front page of reddit made it even more obvious. The effort to sway public opinion was relentless. It had begun to consume the digital landscape.
By the “re-election” of Obama, I was largely disinterested in politics. Instead, I was fully submerged in the most “fringe” conspiracies I could find. I preferred reading about high ancient civilizations and exotic technology like anti-gravity. I didn’t necessarily believe in all of this speculation but I sure loved talking about it. After all, the discussions they generated could be as informative as the linked information itself.
In December 2012, I composed a thread on r/conspiracy discussing the “occult” numerology used on 9/11 and how it could be used to predict the next major staged or “false flag” event. I had just read a book that focused on manipulated school shootings as false flags, with the author arguing that Christmastime of 2012 was a strong possibility for the next major staged event in the US.
Using what I was learning about numerology, I considered that the number “11” might be relevant to a potential 9/11 “ritual” and it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect another false flag 11 years after 9/11, in 2012. I realize this might sound utterly fantastical to the vast majority of the population, but that’s just the kind of stuff we loved to speculate about on r/conspiracy.
Following the Christmas angle, I specifically chose December 14 as the day to write my warning. Within hours, the news of Sandy Hook broke, prompting me to proclaim, “I find it extremely unnerving that a sacrificial attack was carried out today in Connecticut, 11 days before this hypothetical Black Christmas.”
Just a coincidence? Probably. But one thing is clear: Sandy Hook was not orchestrated to “get our guns.” Sandy Hook was extreme state-sponsored terrorism and emotional manipulation, and a weaponized assault on the conspiracy theory and alternative research community. The saga of Alex Jones with respect to Sandy Hook speaks volumes. For many years all conspiracy theorists were equated with “Sandy Hook deniers” and the shill army on reddit responded accordingly.
Sandy Hook wasn’t my only “prediction.” I learned from r/occult that mid-April to May was an ancient pagan season of sacrifice by fire and that many false flags and other staged tragedies occur during this time. I used my developing pattern-recognition tactics on reddit to determine that a major event was being planned in April, 2013. As a result, I warned that a “fiery” false flag may be imminent. Two days later, the Boston Bombing occurred.
Years later, when I realized this season begins in earnest on April 15, I gave this warning on April 14, predicting an occult sacrifice by fire. The following day saw the near destruction of Notre Dame in Paris, one of the single most occult symbolism-ridden buildings ever constructed.
Early on, I noticed my account started to attract considerably more attention. Although I got a great deal of positive encouragement from r/conspiracy, I also began routinely receiving threats in my private messages, and the brigades against my account picked up in earnest. They started ranting and raving that we were even daring to mention topics like “numerology” and the occult...and on a conspiracy forum of all places!
Why not just let us be? Why not just let us talk about silly things like numbers on a fringe forum? Why did our wide-eyed speculation even matter to them? Ironically, if they’d just left us alone I might never have discovered their “sore” subjects, so to speak.
Reddit wasn’t always a vapid repository for propaganda amplification. Once a pioneer of counter-culture and niche interests, reddit has long since devolved into the same cliche caricature of an echo chamber currently engulfing the “mainstream” web under the ruthless dominance of Big Tech. But it wasn’t always like that.
The very first threads on reddit were 9/11 conspiracy theories and challenged the status quo. And yet, 15 years later, the front page of reddit consists of vacuous corporatist and statist propaganda, with the vast majority of unique subreddits having long since been compromised or banned by the “narrative managers” tasked with homogenizing these once vibrant and diverse forums.
I joined reddit in its early days. I enjoyed the anonymity and the ability to create novelty accounts for memes and other silly interests. In 2007, the pro-libertarian bent on reddit introduced me to Ron Paul, and the enthusiasm to “Audit the Fed!” and hold the financial institutions accountable resonated strongly. I grew up marveling at the mindless stupidity of US disasters in Vietnam and elsewhere. I thought similar mistakes wouldn’t be made again. But then I lost friends in Iraq & Afghanistan, and the red-pilling that began on 9/11 proceeded in earnest.
I was the “perfect” age for 9/11. I was old enough to think for myself but not too old that indoctrination prevented the red flags from going off in my skeptical and developing mind. I saw the Bush/Cheney neocons as the heart of the corruption of that era, but soon became wary of the progressive “saviors” in Obama/Biden. This concern played out on reddit in a very dramatic and informative way.
The support I saw for Ron Paul was inspiring and genuine. The “movement” for Obama appeared hollow and manufactured. This was the first time I noticed that much of the activity on reddit, especially politically, was starting to become inorganic. I soon suspected that Obama was being propped up to win, and reddit was being used in the massive effort to re-enforce the two party false dichotomy. This requires constant political ping-ponging of the balance of power to maintain the optics that the public still picks the POTUS.
After the orchestrated financial debacle of 2008, I began focusing my attention on sharing more “conspiratorial” content on reddit. By 2010 I discovered a small subreddit devoted to speculation about conspiracy theories (reddit.com/r/conspiracy). I decided to make an account (u/axolotl_peyotl) devoted exclusively to this type of content.
I began sharing as much fringe and speculative material as I could muster. At one point, I was the third most prolific contributor in the history of r/conspiracy. I even had threads calling out the “banksters” hit the front page of reddit. Amusingly enough, this usually was via the politics subreddit (r/politics), which today is notorious for exclusively broadcasting state-sponsored propaganda.
I didn’t even believe a lot of the conspiracies I was sharing. That’s what made the early iterations of sites like reddit so popular in the first place. We were free to speculate about whatever we wanted without fear of getting mocked or doxxed. I was thoroughly enjoying the stimulating topics and interaction on r/conspiracy. I looked forward to the “debunking” as much as the “high octane” speculation. But the more I posted, the more I began to notice unmistakable patterns in the comment sections of certain threads.
Most wacky conspiracy theories would produce a completely innocuous and frequently constructive response on the forum. For example, you could speculate about aliens and ancient civilizations without being given too much grief. You could also call out events like the JFK assassination and CIA coups without much resistance. In other words, subjects that were both “far out there” and clearly valid and therefore impossible to “debunk” were generally left alone.
Other conspiracies, however, seemed to poke a proverbial digital hornet’s nest. It happened so consistently with these “trigger” topics that it was difficult to miss. This handful of seemingly unrelated issues would consistently bring out reddit accounts that were not frequent r/conspiracy contributors. They also seemed to be almost entirely devoted to spreading FUD and engaging in a wide array of forum sliding tactics and logical fallacies.
While there were undoubtedly others, the following issues would often elicit the most dramatic and artificial reactions: 9/11, Israel, Russia, GMOs/Monsanto, and vaccines. Later, staged shootings like Sandy Hook were added to the fray, while botched cover-ups like the Las Vegas Shooting were generally ignored completely. When the staged event goes awry, they often opt to memory-hole it instead.
Over time, the energy spent obfuscating these various topics was diverted almost entirely to the subject of defending scientism, Big Pharma, and the vaccine paradigm. Certain keywords in titles would bring out a combination of shills (digital provocateurs) and bots (fake accounts with automated replies) to derail the thread and often attack the OP (original poster). For example, the pro-Monsanto/GMO shill squad on reddit used to be as dedicated as it was pervasive, with some accounts boasting a history of thousands of comments defending these mega corporations.
Before the social justice warrior PC police fully infested social media, reddit was more than happy to allow subs devoted to racism, sexism, and even the use of slurs in the titles of the forums themselves. Eventually, the corporate overlords and the MSM would force reddit to “clean” up its act, but its “unsavory” past is a matter of record.
The subreddit “r/conspiratard” was one such hotbed for the corporatist hacks tasked with correcting the record on reddit. It was largely comprised of useful unpaid idiots as well as actual sponsored actors for these predatory conglomerates and state agencies.
On the Night of the Digital Long Knives, they came for me first. Before Trump was banned and before they Thanosed half of social media, they got me.
In the early hours of January 7, 2021, US Senator Tammy Duckworth emphatically declared in Congress that “reddit conspiracy theories” were in part to blame for the “violent insurrection” alleged to have occurred just hours earlier at the US Capitol.
No further clarification was provided as to which conspiracies from the popular social media site were responsible, nor how this conclusion was reached within hours of such an historically unprecedented and controversial event.
The administrators of reddit acted swiftly. The admins traditionally only “spring” into action when confronted with negative PR. Getting publicly called out in Congress after an alleged “coup” was about as high profile as it gets. Within hours, they removed and permanently banned the head moderator of the “subreddit” devoted to conspiracy theories…yours truly.
While the admins are actual employees of reddit, moderators are unpaid volunteers who focus on specific “sub”-reddits. Moderators are a crucial component of how the site functions. They hold no power outside their respective communities and are beholden to the whims of the admins. A case can be made that the sweeping censorship that reached a fever pitch in January was coordinated between rogue elements of multiple world governments and the Big Tech juggernaut. On reddit, I was one of many targeted in this technological purge.
