Look, I love politics and I can read about it all day. But does it have to be that way for everyone? This site exists NOT to provision politics but to escape censorship. If they want to focus /all in whatever way, why not?
No one is being censored. Those that want to will allways have a place and that is all anyone really asked for.
It's not like we don't have true free speech here. No porn, pedo and other degenrate bullshit is welcome here unlike Reddit, Twitter, Facebook and all that.
If anything, this site is really how normal people operate. And normies don't hyper focus on politics all day long.

Apparently my cel phone cannot connect broadcast to a sattelite but this camera rig could broadcast to earth on a battery they carried with them.
Heh. Never noticed that before. And remember, not only did they manage to catch the launch, manage to get the camera to follow THEY WERE BROADCASTING THIS DIRECTLY TO EARTH.
Apparently we could broadcast high def, at least 24fps video to earth in the 1970s POWERED BY BATTERIES THAT THEY CARRIED WITH THEM.
I gotta find out what the official explanation is for this.
Oh, this is a HUGE problem. I call it the ENGLISH ON THE QUE BALL problem.
Everything in the universe has spin. Eventually spin generates enough momentum and you end up balkanization as you said, splintering, new growth and then you repeat the process in each of the new groups.
I can't really explain fully how valuable it has been to me to explore the extremes of the left and right and to be in various communities that value free speech and strongly promote it. There is tremendous value in the noise of diversity of views that helps you see a much larger and more clear picture.
I still cannot get over the realization that here and a few other places are WHERE NORMAL PEOPLE ARE. I just can't get over how clean it feels to be sitting amongst users chatting about all kinds of nonsense and there isn't a single piece of degenerate material anywhere. Not a single porn post, not a single degenerate deviant behaviour post.
These places are, honestly, the most family friendly places I have ever seen, all self selected by users.
