Look, I love politics and I can read about it all day. But does it have to be that way for everyone? This site exists NOT to provision politics but to escape censorship. If they want to focus /all in whatever way, why not?
No one is being censored. Those that want to will allways have a place and that is all anyone really asked for.

My point all along has been that conspiracies (at a minimum, I haven’t spent much time on KiA or Consoom) isnt purely political, and using “politics” as an excuse to hide vaccine hesitancy and the other {woke} topics here from the front page is gayer than aids and an obvious attempt at normie-izing this place.
Are you sure you understood what was happening in that other thread? Almost all your downvotes came from one user, the OP (and his dozen accounts). He is one of the only people asking to hide this community, and he had made more than a few posts/attempts to achieve that goal, the linked thread being the most recent.
These power user faggots (they eventually transition to power mods) were the bane of reddit, making each community they ruled more insular and inbred until eventually they get hired as a site admin.

Oh, this is a HUGE problem. I call it the ENGLISH ON THE QUE BALL problem.
Everything in the universe has spin. Eventually spin generates enough momentum and you end up balkanization as you said, splintering, new growth and then you repeat the process in each of the new groups.
I can't really explain fully how valuable it has been to me to explore the extremes of the left and right and to be in various communities that value free speech and strongly promote it. There is tremendous value in the noise of diversity of views that helps you see a much larger and more clear picture.
I still cannot get over the realization that here and a few other places are WHERE NORMAL PEOPLE ARE. I just can't get over how clean it feels to be sitting amongst users chatting about all kinds of nonsense and there isn't a single piece of degenerate material anywhere. Not a single porn post, not a single degenerate deviant behaviour post.
These places are, honestly, the most family friendly places I have ever seen, all self selected by users.
