Meaning your brains ability to form new connections and make sense of the world or in the case of PTSD get out of a rut in your brain. Of course, studies were shut down for the better part of 50 years due to the War on Drugs. Now we are back to researching.
IMHO psilocybin works much better than these serotonin drugs for depression. Pharma has failed us, bigly.
