Yeah, it really became apparent to me years ago that a lot of these platitudes are truths...but only when you realise them, and the platitudes themselves are merely abstractions of the truth and so they cannot really open the eyes of people, but we have no other ways of doing so, and platitudes are our attempts at conveying the wisdom we have learned.

I definitely enjoy the series. I cannot say I have seen the whole thing, probably 15-20 hours of it.

I find I tend to throw it on from time to time, but there is so much information I play the same portions over to remind myself some of the details, so I cannot be sure how much I have actually seen or rewatched.

I definitely agree that people have some very real blocks to overcome. Even myself. I am looking for new information, but I have to constantly analyze whether it is accurate, useful, and worth retaining, then find a place to store it and interconnect it with previous data.

How they measure the point of reference though is a good point....as that too would need to be tied to the exact moment the sun passes a point in space.

So you could have a good point, especially when they try to factor in relativity and quantum operations on that decay and reference point.

I believe they use atomic clocks which measure the radioactive decay and then they time the number of atomic particles get emitted over the course of a year etc.

I definitely feel like they faked the moon landings and most of the space race stuff...I also question the ISS footage - while not necessarily faked.... definitely hiding shit all over the place.

Well it may be a physical lie...but they certainly do change the clocks to account for it. It messes up electronics when they do it and requires intervention in some cases.

The effects are very real I can say that much. They 'act' like the time changes and they definitely make the adjustment
