Hey! It's the guy who thinks Trump was going to arrest Biden mid-inauguration! I assumed you quit the site out of embarrassment.
I have come to the conclusion that I don't like the gifs being used as forum responses. Not because of what they are, necessarily, or even what's contained in them. I don't like them because they're just going to dumb down the conversation. The conversations here are already pretty dumb, and this only exacerbates the downfall of legitimate discourse.
It takes no effort to post a gif. It's not clever. It's not original. It's not funny.
I mean, they can be funny in the right context, I guess, but not when it's the same 20 images cycled through over and over.
That was the point of OP's post, come on.
Since Trump lost the election, man, it was four months ago today.
I'm chill. Y'all are the ones propping up a biased narrative here.
I hope not! It's hard to tell here with so many cultists.
Are these all of the gifs we have access to? This list is might as well be sucking Trump's dick. Another method of controlling the narrative, I think. Toys for you and none for those of us critical of TPTB.
Yeah, and the people are demanding proof of it. When there's no proof, coups seem a bit much, no?
I'm not sure whether or not I like the new gif options yet. Maybe it will grow on me. I feel like every thread is just going to be Trump gifs now.
How can anyone use that gif unironically?
No. This is fake and gay.
As awesome as it would be, this is a rendering.
I mean, I've been tested twice and both tests have been negative, but I know enough people who have had it and suffered through it that I can't simply deny it exists. People I know and trust.
It's likely not exactly what the media tells us to fear, but it clearly isn't made up or completely fake.
I'd get an antibody test if I were you. If you still have antibodies nearly a year later, that's probably a good sign for you and anyone else that's had it.
My cousin got it back around the New Year, and he's only three or four years older than me. It wrecked him and his wife for nearly two weeks. He was never in any danger of dying or anything, but it seriously kicked his ass. He told me that he can see how it kills people who are old or have health issues on top of Covid.
I'm not particularly worried about my own health in that case, but there's a ton of people out there who are old, fat or otherwise sick in some way. Gotta feel for them.
I imagine we would
Too bad a former mod made it take months and months for new users to participate there.
If you're dumber than a 5th grader, you're probably looking for ways to defend the idiots who stormed the capitol.
Hey, a bunch of them nabbed a few felonies while they were there, so it wasn't for nothing!
I think he sold out to the guy who filmed himself fucking Lady G in the ass.
I wonder how many idiots will book a trip to D.C. for nothing.
I'm a Libertarian. My side needs a lot more help than another 3rd party
Prediction: There will be more than one roughing the passer penalty called against the Chiefs. Brady is too precious to sack.
Binkov did an interesting "what if" about an allied invasion of the Soviet Union in 1945. It's pretty cool if you like alternate history: https://youtu.be/CMAkiURDoTE
There were plenty of people who wanted to invade Russia following WWII. The American appetite for War just wasn't there, particularly against an emerging world power. In fact, we did go to war with the Soviets, sort of, as the Cold War pretty much immediately kicked off after the Paris Peace Treaties. Instead of using bombs and guns, the US flooded cash into Europe to help repair the infrastructure and prop up democratic governments there. The spread of communism was very real, and the US leaders figured the best way to win hearts and minds was to spend spend spend. And it worked. Communist movements in France and Western Germany were snubbed out long before they could gain any legitimate foothold.
It's funny, because that's the strategy that China is using now. One of the primary reasons behind US international aid was, originally, to help stop the red scare.
I'd be happy to offer more context behind my posts if the community required it.
