How did this footage get out? Did he livestream it in real-time? And even in that he failed, since the video is completely choppy once the shooting starts.
I also don't see the point in doing this. So he bagged eight groids and two Whites? Out of millions of groids? And then claimed he was 'radicalized' by 4chan and writing a 'manifesto', instead of doing the smart thing and pretending to be a Communist or Islamist instead?
Now they're going to use this as an excuse to crack down on hundreds of millions of guns and to go after White 'Far-Right' groups even harder?
This kind of 'accelerationist' reasoning didn't work out in Tarrant's case. He thought that the NZ government crackdown, especially on guns, would lead to a widespread uprising. It didn't. People handed their guns over willingly. They'll do the same in America when push comes to shove. Why would anyone want to be a Christchurch/Tarrant copycat at the age of 18? And why the fuck would you surrender afterwards? You're almost certainly going to get the death penalty or a life sentence anyway. Don't write a stupid 'manifesto' unless you're trying to pretend to be motivated by liberalism, Communism or Islam; don't implicate 'Far-Right' politics, don't let them capture you so that they make you squeal and make an example of you.
Everything that this guy did is stupid. And all just to kill ten or eleven people? How is that even remotely worth it?
Immediately one can tell that he's deeply immersed in meme culture. Literal photos of Samuel Hyde in the first few pages of his manifesto.
You can tell it's a Christchurch/Tarrant copycat. Right down to the way that he's got some writing on his guns. In Tarrant's case I think he wrote the names of victims of Muslim terror attacks on his guns (the death of a little girl named Ebba Akerlund being the one he claims 'radicalized' him), but I don't know what's on these guns. I guess the only difference is that he didn't go after Muslims, but also bagged two White people.
'Trust the science' really means 'Trust the science as filtered through the media'.
'Trust the science' implies that these morons actually read academic journal papers. They obviously don't.
What they do is comprehend that the mass media says: 'The science says this, that and the other', and presume that that's all that there is to 'the science'.
'The science says "trust the vaccine", therefore only stupid people do not trust the vaccine. See, I'm very scientific and smart!' The media, of course, can just say that 'the science' says whatever the hell they want it to say.
Everything these days has become so cringe to the point that comedy has completely blurred with reality. If even the spree shooters are writing meme words on their guns, this is some first-person shooter gamer level of cringe. Literally livestreaming to Twitch like some Call of Duty game, full of lag and only for his account to be banned within seconds of opening fire.
