The face being so similar could easily be explained with the clone theory, and I'm sure modern technology can complete facial surgery with no noticeable scars. Your rebuttal kind of falls apart if you're relying solely on physical appearance, which of you look close enough does have striking differences to the real Dave. Plus the video of him at the awards show doesn't at all seem like the Dave from 2000.
The thing is that his voice, cadence, and humor are totally different than they were pre 2006 though. Watch his early material and its nothing like the way he is even as far back as 2014.
