The tower looks either too large or too close even if the hollow appearance is an optical illusion. The outside of the West Wing looks right though.

I see many here talking about Vatican having a blackout. I've seen the live stream. I've seen the darkness. However, it's clear that there are lights still on and they look dimmed. I rewound the stream back to sunset and watched the image darken while the lights remained about the same brightness. To me that does not look like a blackout. It looks like the camera didn't adjust exposure for night time.

Couple that with the fact that there hasn't been a single news report of Vatican having a blackout, unlike with Pakistan, and that there is a jurisdiction difference between Vatican and Italy (re: "Italygate"), and this looks like a bad lead.

What am I missing?
