I find it fascinating that many people online are comparing circuit boards (electronics) to rune magic. I always wondered where could someone come up with the idea of rune magic in the first place. It sounds a little crazy. But what if we've been this technologically advanced before, then the world ended and we restarted (reset theory). "Rune magic" is how people who remembered electronics or heard about it tried to recreate it or explain it.

I had not heard of that.
I had thought of creating a fictional magic system which uses circuit diagram software.
I find it interesting. I know a woman super into rune magic and I've always wondered who came up with the idea that designs in rocks have magic powers? I don't think I'd ever come up with that on my own. A lot of magic and mythology I've read has a basis in reality. Tarot cards or palm reading is psychology. Demon summoning or curses are often simply a self attribution bias to normal reality. The list goes on... But rune magic has always seemed weird to me.
Now, look at a circuit board for any electronics. Take a PC motherboard for example. You've got a piece of material (a rock) with a bunch of traces (the technical term for lines connecting parts) and many parts the traces connect that standout as if centered around them in a design. Now look at rune magic and all the runes with similar traces connecting a bunch of central design points that standout. It almost does like look a circuit board.
If you showed a motherboard to a person from 500 AD, and then showed him the output that motherboard produced... Even something as simple as a calculator at that time would seem like magic. Imagine if some AI spoke to you but in its robotic AI tone. That might seem like a demon to a lot of people back then. Summoning runes... Magic runes... We have cases enclosing the circuit boards but without this, you'd just see the circuit board. Not every rendition of a computer in our history necessarily had enclosures.
Now, imagine instead of seeing a computer in person and describing it from what you saw, you instead saw books that described the circuit boards instead. Have you ever seen circuits in an academic learning situation? There's a rather simple language (drawings) that is used as a legend to describe the circuit boards in an easy to understand manner for engineers but this language in drawings are not reflective of the actual complexity of real circuits. So, if you thought the jump from rune magic diagrams to actual circuit boards was too far fetched given how simplistic the rune magic drawings looked compared to real circuit boards then, you may need to consider that anyone describing rune magic as a second hand description of circuit boards might be working with the simplistic circuit drawings used in academia rather than trying to draw real life circuit boards.
So, the idea goes that in our past, we had computers before. We had circuit boards and computers. But, something happened and civilization "reset" or whatever happened such as a flood, nuclear war, climate change or alien invasion led to the destruction of our past advanced civilization and then humanity started over but the knowledge of our past wasn't necessarily erased. Perhaps textbooks survived or maybe a group of humans that remembered the peak of our technological advancements survived underground and passed that knowledge on to their children to pass into their children. Perhaps, a secret group of humans keep resetting civilization every few hundred years. Who knows.
But, if someone in the past found information about a past, somehow, I could easily see "rune magic" as a technologically primitive people trying to replicate or describe what we know as modern circuit boards and electronics.
This explanation, to me anyway, seems way more plausible than someone coming up with the idea that if you draw patterns on rocks, they create magic. Instead, imagine someone read in a book (or heard it described by their ancestors) that if you etch copper onto fiberglass in a specific way, you get magical outputs. Copper is a "rock" (known when rune magic was created) but no one would know what fiberglass is (however, they'd have known what glass was. What is glass? It's rocks...) so it would be assumed to be another rock (like copper). The concept of rune magic would be born. It may have started as technical but try to explain it to people 1500 years ago. They'd think your crazy so if you simplified it and called it magic it might work. For all we know, someone actually got something to work (however minor it may have been) and that cemented rune magic into our history.
Something to think about. It makes a lot of sense to me.
Aka elect (choice) oni (one)...few shape an artificial circle (circuit) within the natural line (board) of progress to invert ones (oni) choice (elect) into selecting a chosen one.
Mental logic (circular thinking) represents an open circuit; physical reason (turning against one another) represents a short circuit...both establish electronic impedance for gentiles, while permitting each chosen jew control over both nodes aka both sides of any conflict of reason gentiles choose a side within.
Example...politics. Voting for a representative implies ones choice (oni elect) selecting a chosen one (elect oni) within an election. That's how election admittance turns into impedance aka "resistance due to induction in an electrical circuit".
What one votes for represents the nodes (left wing OR right wing) turning into a circuit (left wing VS right wing) by voting. Node/ned - "to bind; tie"
Aka to RUN ESTimation on ONE...nature implies the value (all perceivable) running through each ones evaluation (ones perception). A jew runs artificial estimation on each gentile by tempting gentiles collectively to consent to suggested values like currency.
SOME (plural sum) contradicts ONE (singular unit)...a jew suggests the word "someone" to tempt gentiles to consent to a suggested contradiction. A gentiles mental consent represents idealism (ideal); the physical consent represent idolatry (idol).
So you (a native) came up in nature, which you choose to ignore for the jewish idea of "someone" aka being one part within a larger sum of gentiles. So the "where" implies nature for each native, and a natives mind for each artificial idea by one another.
First implies all of nature (cause); second implies division of nature into each native (effect)...only effect within cause can have place (body) ment (mind).
A jew utilizes suggestion to tempt a gentiles secondary perception to ignore the first cause of all perceivable by for example tempting gentiles to race against each other to reach the "first place" at the end, which once again represents a contradiction.
Nature advances (inception towards death) native (life) within a straight line...a jew suggests techno (artifice) logi (logic) to shape a circle inside (logic) and outside (reason) of gentiles to distract from delineation.
Advancing technologically implies running in an artificial circle while ignoring natural advancement.
Only in-between beginning (inception) and end (death) can a world (life) be shaped, and only within an ongoing line can a temporary shape experience beginning and end.
Aka ones REsponse to being SET by THEO (God)...which a jew inverts with the-ORY aka orating in the name of God for gentiles.
Orating in the name of God aka "In nomine Patris" shapes trinitarianism aka logos (word of God) > logic (circular thinking) > reason (turning against one another)...running gentiles within a circle of re-cycling.
God doesn't speak....God implies sound/sanus (entire; whole; all) generating each in-stru-ment (mind structured within).
Theory (orating theos) represents blasphemy aka "to speak impiously or irreverently of God". A jew inverting practical (sound) into theoretical (word) represents spell-craft and most gentiles are spellbound.
