I really like Truthstream Media generally, but this particular documentary felt like it was all over the place. I'm at about 30 min in. I get the criticisms from the NYC train signaling system. I've know about that disaster for a while.

It's very difficult to switch out a moving system that needs to run 24/7 in some areas. Back in the 2010s, Melbourne was finally looking to move their train systems off of old 286 machines because they were having trouble getting parts. That being said, NYC is horrifically out of date due to pure corruption. It shouldn't be that way. But she's not covering the more recent systems in places like Seattle or how Chicago is still doing regular maintenance even if line expansion has completely stopped.

She brings up evacuated tube transport, but ETT is really a pipe dream. Getting low pressure vacuums in a tube safely will transporting a bunch of people is incredibly difficult. Musk's Hyperloop/Boring company was another company that gave it a shot and hasn't produced anything viable yet.

Seattle could have had an incredible monorail system instead of the one-stop tourist thing they have now. The citizens voted yet twice, but powerful interests kept it from happening and all that money got shipped to build Atlanta's rail system (that goes from where no one works to where no one lives).

Yes there are places that are failing with infrastructure, especially in California. But in my state, we're seeing new Interstate every year, roads getting fixed/paved every year, new storm water tanks being put in as a long term solution (that's sadly cut off bike trail access in some areas for 2 years!). There are plenty of places in America that are not only maintaining, but future proofing their infrastructure. It's not all falling apart as she states. It really depends on your city/state!

I'll watch the rest of it, but the opening leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. It's all negative and doesn't list any wins. It doesn't mention Florida's high speed diesel system, which isn't going to compete with Germany's ICE trains, sure, but it's still something.

I usually love their stuff, but I feel like this one is starting off very badly researched.

We're Being

We isn't a being..."we" implies a suggested pluralism to trick one to ignore being a perceiving singular unit.

held hostage

The age (vital force) which hosts gives each being FREE will of choice. Holding onto implies a secondary force by ones free will of choice...detrimental to ones vital being.

technology bubble

Techno (artifice) logy (logic) implies the bubble of circular thinking when holding onto artificial information. Natures ongoing vital force pops any such bubble.

truthstream media

Media implies middle of stream, because only within a stream (inception towards death) can a medium (being) come into being. Truth implies medium ignoring stream by inclining towards a side...also labeled "banking trust".
