They're all foreign. The Romans genocided the real French (the gauls). Those people are Germans.
1 in 3 is too low. I'd say half of the French are of foreign decent or some kind of mulatto.
France/franc/frank - "free"...only a native can be free; a foreigner remains bound to somewhere else.
