We have a somewhat archaic grammar construction in Russian, to make the word that mean something that stopped being itself. With a person it is someone who willinly stop being who he is usually for some profit. Just adding prefix "вы-" (something like "out-", "off-" or "un-") to the word. Say, ukrainians could be named "вырусь" (virus') - "Russians (русь) who abandoned their essence and willingly stop being Russians for profit".
Similary, this shabbesgoy could be named outAmerican, offAmerican or unAmerican. And yes, it is worse than a jew.
