Both a distraction from the numerous bells that where taken across the world, and fundamentally BE (being) EL (God) aka BA'AL aka bhel (to sound).
Furthermore...the rhetoric "to ring a bell" tempts one to believe that resonance aka ones response (re) to all sound (sonance) emits circular instead of linear.

Becoming implies coming into being, hence as being (be) within God (el). One cannot become; only come into being. The suggested word "become" represents an inversion.
As for ringing the being (be) within God (el)...that's about drawing an inward (logic) and outward (reason) ring to tempt a being into circular thinking, which turns one against one another into circular conflict.
Example...the suggestion of upvote or downvote next to each comment represents the first circle (logic), while choosing either side establishes the second circle (reason) aka commenters arguing against one another within a like vs dislike conflict.
Com (together) ment (mind)...that's a synthesis tempting ones singular mind to ignore analysis. Putting minds together represents a hivemind aka a collective consciousness aka gestalt intelligence aka an egregore aka groupthink aka mental coalescence etc.
