The fact you're putting all your personal pride or shame in a collective identity rather than yourself as an individual says it all. "What should I be ashamed of [I'm white]" Is a cover for your personal shame. That is textbook narcissism.
Normal people do not think like that. They do not use their race as a cover for individual shame.
