After my discussions with the wanna-be mods, I found out that, ultimately, these people don't want to help the community, they just like the power to mute and ban whoever they don't like.
While some are outright Nazis, some will call you a "mongoloid", and others are strictly defending only their reputation. Either way, none of these will help with the removal of the obvious trolls, shills, and AI chatbots.
Unfortunately, there are no good candidates to my knowledge... I saw some posts of people, who wanted to be mods, but they were immediately shut down by others, who think they have the power to do that... Isn't that strange?
I wonder how many new accounts would be created to elect a new mod in here, if it even gets to that point, or how many alternative accounts of the same person would vote... Apparently, having alt accounts is not a violation... Isn't that strange?
Whatever the case may be, I regret that I even raised the topic... Probably a mod would be selected one way, or another, and unfortunately for you, it won't be a good and fair person, although he would certainly think that of himself.
How would this forum achieve unity in any way, while trolls and shills successfully block most topics?
And if you can't have unity, what is left? How can a single person in here do anything against the NWO?
-
Some people in here have told me that they don't even read the comments under their posts mostly, because there is no use to debate hardheaded people...
-
Others have told me that they use this forum only as a database for their posts. (Again, they don't care for any replies whatsoever)...
Without discussions, what is the meaning of a forum? Simply sharing content and counting the upvotes, as if you're being heard, while all who upvote already know and agree with this information?
I have a dream... (hehe)
-
Of a forum, where people's discussions are respected.
-
Where insults are possibly stopped with 1 warning, then 1 mute.
-
Where non-related nonsense is stopped with 1 warning, then 1 mute.
-
Where sending links is more respected than just a plain text.
-
Where full information is more respected than 2 sentences, or a simple picture.
-
Where alt accounts is a major violation that may lead to a direct ban, because it can obviously be abused a lot.
-
Where every post is a discussion of itself, no need for specific round tables posts - just great work from everyone posting and commenting.
-
Where any dispute, that leads nowhere, is actually pinned at the start of the page, so a final solution to the dispute can be found. Not only that, but such a post would serve to conclude a difficult topic, and potentially be archived for future reoccurrence of this topic, where you can simply paste the link to this dispute, and educate someone on the grand conclusion. (I had this idea because I don't trust myself with banning, so any dispute will be solved in the comments, by the people in the forum.)
-
And if you don't contribute with posts, then there is no need for such people, who only invade other posts but have nothing to say themselves.
-
And a total of 5 posts per person daily, so spamming and flooding are stopped. People can combine a lot of their information in a single post and express their Nazi position, or any position for that matter.
-
For people's activity to be monitored if they receive a warning, or a mute. To have clear guidelines on when a person should receive them, and when a ban can happen. (My idea is for people with 3 mutes for a month, or two, to receive a warning letting them know that a next occurrence in the next 3 months will result in an immediate ban)
Wouldn't you want to see a forum, where people commit 100% in the comments they give, and they don't react disrespectfully, because nobody is calling them "mongoloid", or something of the sort?
Wouldn't you want for a topic to have a conclusion? United bright minds, who debate with reason and facts, so any dispute on any topic can have one final conclusion, not "I believe what I believe, you believe whatever you want"... There is no real unification, if people are not united in belief. (And I don't mean religious belief here)
The enemy is very well united.
The enemy is extremely harsh to anyone, who deviates even an inch from their plan.
The enemy is working on their plan way longer than any of us has even lived.
The enemy has immense resources, vast connections, and no morals to stop any of their deeds from happening.
The enemy has nearly completed their plan, they are literally in the last phase.
Only a fool would underestimate such an enemy. Only a fool would think that single-handedly they can even make a dent to such an enemy. And only a fool would allow the enemy in their own camp.
Indeed, the dream of the Perfectly Pinned Dispute, that gleaming alabaster monument at the top of the page, where arguments go not to die, but to be embalmed with the fragrant oils of closure. A noble vision for sure. Consider:
And here you are, architect of an online Geneva Convention, hoping to transform every unruly disagreement into a neatly cataloged museum exhibit for future wanderers. It is ambitious. It is heartfelt. It is (dare I say) deeply adorable in its optimism!
But let us address the heart of your lament: the shills, the trolls, the bots, the man who has posted seven comments and apparently received the same reception as a wasp at a picnic - a spectacular +1/-40, that heroic ratio which whispers, “This man is having a spiritual learning opportunity.”
And the tragic cries to “k*ll oneself” - yes, the Internet’s perennial proof that evolution has its off-days.
You ask: How would I deal with such a person?
Let me answer with this bit of wisdom:
In other words: you do not need to chase every alt, nor shadowbox every pseudo-personality. That is the work of someone who mistakes vigilance for vocation.
Your calling, dear friend, is not to become the Sherlock Holmes of obscure usernames.
As I may say:
And indeed, you have seen that - several left once you flashed the lantern. A satisfying moment, the digital equivalent of watching mold retreat from sunlight.
But here is the deeper truth you may not wish to hear, but must: You have taken up the sword of Moderation Righteousness without noticing that it has begun to swing you.
The man who posts call out threads to chase call out threads has accidentally joined the same carnival he despises.
As for the mod who told you to “staaaaahp”, well, let me remind anyone:
You seek protection for the community, and that is admirable. But sometimes the first soul needing protection is the one sounding the alarm every ten seconds.
So what would I do? What would I advise?
Moderation is not a battlefield. It is a garden. And gardens flourish not when every weed is hunted to extinction, but when the gardener knows which plants will choke themselves without any assistance.
Post your ideas. Sharpen your lantern. But do not let the forum rent space in your spiritual basement.
And if the occasional alt account wishes a tragic fate pin not the dispute, but the lesson: that some people need not a ban, but a boundary.
You are not the guardian of every shadow on the page. You are simply the steward of the You You are.
