Actually, Magnus Hirschfeld in his book Rassismus was the primary popularizer of the word also used by Trotsky and others. It was used in English by antisegregationist Richard Pratt in 1902, and before that was in French, in both cases as a matter of proper pride in race; it was Hirschfeld that got the redefinition into common use.
As if (((Hirschfeld))) the genital mutilation pioneer was any less of a subversive, destructive influence than mr continous revolution trotsky.
