If that's the case, why is it only brought up by Christians? I have only seen that niche fact brought up less times than the other bad stuff hitler's/nazis have been claimed to have done.

Nazis were condemned by the church, the Catholic Church even sent out a secret speech to be read out, titled "Mit Brennende Sorge." - It was the only official document ever produced by the Vatican that wasn't in Latin.
