a) Attend/adtendere (to stretch towards) + ion (action; motion) ...stretching towards matter tempts one to ignore being within motion.
b) If one thanks/thinks a YOU (phonetic jew), then one ignores all perceivable offered for a chosen ones suggestion.
Thanking a jew (thank you) implies a jewish will (you/jew are well/will-come)...
