Italy and spain called general strike in Friday for Sumud Flotilla attack. USA has large lefty population (although no labor unions). Why isn't USA organizations calling for general strike?

Why? Because there has been no news coverage of the general strike in the EU. It's not something most Americans are aware of or care enough about sadly.
