Actually the real number of deaths in Gaza now is close to 500k not 50k. The number of children killed could be up to 200k not 20k. The under estimates are because in order for a death to be registered a body must be delivered to a hospital. Many hospitals are not operating and it cost a lot of money to transport a body. So if a family member dies the remaining family just bury them in place. Additionally, many were never recovered from the rubble. Some of that rubble has even been cleared and crushed by the Israelies and these bodies will never be recoverd. It adds further confusion that Israelis kidnap people so the Palestinians don't know if someone was kidnapped or killed. All this doesn't take into account "normal" deaths that wouldn't happen without the war such as kidney failure due unclean water. No operating hospitals. Malnutrition etc.. in Iraq for instance the actual death toll was in the millions who died indirectly due to the American invasion.
