Yeah and tv would seem like magic too if you had no idea how it worked.
a) Natural - Elect (choice) implies Magh (to be able; have power), hence each being representing elect-magh.
Artificial - elecTRICK + magNETick, hence tricking both into bondage aka suggested electromagnetism.
