My issue, as a person who has a degree in a field where I had to study too much about gases, is that killing someone with hydrogen cyanide simply isn't plausible.

Why?

It's rare, and not cheap.

Its flammable AND explosive under very low pressure (like a room with an open door even). <--READ THAT AGAIN.

Even if you managed to kill someone with ZB, handling the body would be toxic. Burning it would be toxic. Burying it would be toxic.
